1. 1.0 INTRODUCTION
1.1 INTRODUCTIONOF PROJECTSYSTEM
Science Lab Inventory System is a project that manages chemical item and
its quantity. Since it does not have a system based on science lab inventory yet,
the main objective in our project is to develop a new system based science lab
inventory.
The user can use this systemto storedata of chemical item, add or update
data, view complete report and so on. By using this system, it is easier for
administrator to manage and record data for chemical item.
Overall, this systemis a science lab inventory systemthat provides all the
important and necessary information regarding the system. Itis design so that the
user data can be accessed and effectively stored into the database.
2. 1.2 TEAM BACKGROUND
Our group consists of two students from Diploma in computer science.
All members in this group have dedicated themselves into completing this
project.
All members studies in UiTM Arau.

VISION
To develop a better science lab inventory systemthat can satisfy all the
user needs.

To provide simple and accessible chemical item information.
To provide excellent functions and application necessary for
science lab inventory system.

4. 2.0 INTRODUCTION TO ORGANIZATION
2.1 BACKGROUND OF ORGANIZATION
The unit for Science Labaratory UiTM was establish in 2003 with the aim of
fostering better linkages between UiTM and the industry.
Industries arebenefactors of the latest state of the art technology. They are
the biggestmonetary potential of the world and act as an impetus to new
discoveries in research and developement. UiTM, on the other hand, has the
creative innovative potential in the formof ideas, knowledge, wide ranging
expertise, ground breaking research and a pool of skilled futureworkforce.
Thus, Science Labaratory UiTM builds bridges that connect UiTM and the
industry. Weinitiate discussions and havethe way for meaningful and sustainable
relationships with various sectors of the industry.
Partnerships between these two parties can fill up gaps, reduce costs and
result in better utilization of the country's resources. In theprocess, theindustry
and university moderates one another, making each other relevant and
responsiveto the nation's growth and development.
Science Labaratory UiTM promotes, coordinates, and organizes university-
industry related activities that enrich the experiences of the members of UiTM
community. These include interactions with major industry practitioners and
leaders and matching researcher with industries for reseach collaborations,
consultancy and industrial attachments. Science Labaratory UiTM has been very
dynamic in formalizing linkages with industries in enhancing student's knowledge
and skills thus increasing their employability. Science Labaratory UiTM is also
engaged in community work that upholds UiTM's socialcontract to the
community at large.

meaning that all information about the data record and research has to be done

The systemrequired to be observed. Fromthat, we can detect that there
are some strengths and weaknesses existin this system. This is important as we
know how well the systemcan work.

User’s authentication such as login and password requirements.
-Guest-level – Does not required usernameand password. Guestcan only
view home.
Student-level – usernameand password arerequired. They can edit their
profile.
Admin-level – usernameand password required. Admin can controlthe
entire system.

Do not havea spaceto comment or any feedback.
The language barrier between Bahasa Melayu and English Language.

Providethe necessary forms to evaluate feedback and effect fromthe
