1. After 12th, most common subjects are Engineering or Medical
courses in India. Engineering is 4 year course, whereas Presently
duration for MBBS course is 5.5 years, which include 4.5 years of
curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship.Before admission

Engineering college with intake capacity 14,77,448 seats are
available for educational session 2017-18 . Total Nos. of MBBS seats

(MCI) websiteas on 18.06.2017.It means that Engineering seats are
22 times more than that of Medical seats. So Engineers are visible
in every job besise their core jobs
2. % of marks in 12th Board & Choice of

There is need of minimum 75% marks in PCMB
(Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Biology) for admission
in any reputed Engineering Medical/ Engineering
colleges.

List of engineering/Medical Exams:
All Metro city have centre of reputed coaching institute.
But KOTA (Rajsthan), New Delhi, Patna & Ranchi are most
preferred destination of north Indians. As per your need,
you can choose anyone city for your daughter or son.
Main exams for Engineering & Medical are IIT & NEET
respectively. NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture)
is specific exam for Architecture or Planner course. Exams
for engineering are
VITEEE,COMEDK,CUSAT,SRMJEE,WBJEE,BITSAT,MUOET,
UPES,NPTI, State wise exams etc. Exams for engineering

and Anaesthesiology.
6. Your priority before choosing
subject for graduation:
First thing is your rank in respective competitive
exam for medical & Engineering. As per your rank
you will be called for counselling at various
institutes. After that you should find your interest
for choosing the subject for graduation. Now days
it is easy to take loan for your education (College
must be affiliated from AICTE or MCI). So you can
take loan on the basis of parent’s income.Last
thing is job availability of selected course.
