EHY, as well as Ocean Star Est. (a subsidiary of EHY) with 3 different

As a senior manager for ocean star Est. & sharp division in Kuwait, I am
responsible for everything needed to run the business in these two
divisions, acting GM for ocean star Est. with full authorities &
responsibilities, reporting directly to the CEO / owner, and reporting to
the group GM in sharp division.
- Identifying the opportunities and sourcing the new agencies and brands
from all over the world.
- developing market entry strategies.

- represent the company and undertaking negotiation activities in all areas
of business, locally as well as internationally, with finalizing business
deals and agreements.
- Prepare annual budgets / forecasts, sales projections and business plans.
- Responsible for the P&L management, purchasing, sales, marketing,
strategic planning, market and competitors analysis.
- Draft official correspondences on behalf of the company.
- Controlling, evaluating and approving all the financial business
activities and transactions.
- lead & manage a team consist of more than 50 persons as following:
department managers, asst.managers, supervisors, sales executives, sales
representatives, accountants, secretary, store keepers, delivery teams, and
warehouses teams.
- Receiving reports from my direct team on a daily, weekly and monthly
basis, conducting a weekly and monthly meetings with them for
evaluations and discussions.

Starting January 2014 – Current: in addition to the above two posts ,
top management had given me a new challenge with assigning me as a
Senior Divisional Manager for E-Commerce Division, Best Online
store, which was just launched in the market and has a critical problems.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
In addition to all the above mentioned responsibilities and activities, as a
totally new field for our company, it was requiring from my side certain
actions with specific activities and follow-ups, so I started with all the
following:
- Re-assigning & Managing the team members in all the departments
“Operations, Customer Services, Logistics, marketing, Social Media
& IT” to complete and finalize the project.
- Started weekly and monthly meetings for evaluating and discussing
the site technical issues, problems, performance and ways of
improvements to solve the critical priority problems with the site
implementer & Developing Company.
- Setting up a daily targeted number of sales/transactions, with
boosting the sales by aggressive creative promotions & campaigns.
- Finding a new attractive products and unique gadgets to increase the
site traffic.
- Creating new methods and ways to attract the customers and to
penetrate the online market.
- Analysing & Evaluating google analytical reports and social media
reports to decide the actions to be taken accordingly.

- Monitoring our competitors’ daily activities to take corrective

- In 2007 I was responsible for accomplishing a new project , it was an
opportunity of establishing a new TOYS distribution / wholesale
company based in Dubai – Jabal Ali free zone , with an international
Brands & agencies for the whole Middle East region , I made the study
and the whole evaluation for the project, I made my presentation to the
CEO / owner, it was been appreciated & approved , and then we
proceeded with establishing the company , I was assigned to control all
the stages, steps and procedures of establishing the new company
including the evaluation of the partnership agreement, and later on to
manage the initial operations and ordering procedures, as well as to
coordinate with our partner / the MD of the company in Dubai, and to
support the operations by managing and allocating all the required
financial & logistics resources for the new company smooth start-up.

directly to the GM / owner, in that time before I took over the
responsibility, ocean star was straggling with a huge over stock &
continuous annual losses, I accepted the big challenge in the beginning of
my professional career, I started with an intensive study & evaluation for
the whole situation , ended up with a plan presented to the owners, on
how we can restart the business again and to turn the losses into a profit
within a period of 12 to 18 months supported by a solid action plan. With
the full authorities & support given to me in that time I succeeded to
achieve my targeted plan results within the 2nd
financial year itself. Till

date Ocean Star Est. has a profitable business with sufficient annual
profits.
