Reservoir Engineer - BG Tanzania (Operated from UK) October 2013–Current
Responsible for reservoir engineering support to one of the Tanzania blocks. Tasks include:
Lead the reservoir engineering support for Field Development Planning process
Lead reservoir engineering support for concept selection of multibillion dollars LNG project
Design and implement workflow to capture subsurface uncertainty and economic dimension
within decision making of concept selection and optimization
Perform reservoir simulation studies to address reserves, well count, well type, and wells
location
Develop uncertainty and sensitivity workflows to assist probabilistic reserves estimation
Design, witness, and interpret of welltests
Responsible for reservoir engineering contribution to the business planning process
Participate in reserve booking process under the SPE PRMS rules
Coach and mentor graduate engineers, assign tasks and provide feedback

Tested new reservoir simulators with higher performance and less cost, and provided feedback

Created conceptual models for the assets to test different development concepts
Quantified the effects of rock and fluid properties on point probe formation pressure
