cloudSME UG, StartUp company, CloudComputing, HPC, Workflow cloudSME greatly simplifies the "access to" and "integration of" cloud computing resources for companies, institutions and research projects, especially in the area of simulation and business intelligence. cloudSME offers a real European solution for European companies. Formed by partners out of the "cloudSME FP7 R&D project".

2. cloudSME Project
• Funded by the European Commission FP7 programme –
Factories of the Future initiative
• Duration time: July 2013 – March 2016
• EUR 4.5 million overall funding
• Coordinated by the University of Westminster
• 16 initial project partners – including 12 SMEs
• 13 new partners (12 SMEs) joined in January 2015 as result of
an Open Call
• Focus: foster the uptake of simulation software especially
among small and medium-sized enterprises by offering
software as a Service (SaaS) on a scalable platform.
