About Dominos -
Domino's Pizza, Inc., branded as Domino's, is an American multinational pizza
restaurant chain founded in 1960. The corporation is headquartered at the
Domino's Farms Office Park in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and incorporated
in Delaware. In February 2018, the chain became the largest pizza seller
worldwide in terms of sales.
Over the period since 1996, Domino's Pizza India has remained focused on
delivering great tasting Pizzas and sides, superior quality, exceptional guest care and
value for money offerings. We have endeavored to establish a reputation for being a
home delivery specialist capable of delivering pizzas within 30 minutes or else FREE
to a community of loyal consumers from all our restaurants around the country.
Domino's vision is focused on " Exceptional people on a mission to be the best pizza
delivery company in the world!" We are committed to bringing fun, happiness and
convenience to lives of our consumers by delivering delicious pizzas to their
doorstep and our efforts are aimed at fulfilling this commitment towards a large and
ever-growing guest base.
Campaigns Run By Dominos -
• Everyday Value Offer –
By the growing demand for Pizza in the Indian society which is truly attracted by the means of Discounts and Offers, Dominos
came up with Everyday value offer which provides two medium pizzas of different categories at an very attractive price. It is
highly advertised over television and mobile application. It is a very attractive way to capture and attract the Indian Market as
people are really obsessed when they hear words like ” offers and Discounts “.
• Introduction of New Flavors at the correct moment –
Dominos introduced World league pizza’s just before the IPL and World Cup which introduces new flavor pizza’s
which has some fusion with the Indian and the International Taste, they also hired Cricketers to campaign in their
Ad’s to attract customers. They Introduced flavors like African peri peri, Jamaican Jerk, English Cheddar etc., which
resembles the teams playing in World Cup and the players in the IPL teams.
• Tie up with Paytm and other payment gateways -
Dominos has tied up with Paytm, amazon pay etc to grab in offers when you pay from these selected payment
gateways. They often offer, offer’s like cashback etc. if you pay from these selected payment gateways which also
attracts consumers.
• Using Social media platform and Hashtags -
Dominos is highly active on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, twitter and YouTube. Updates about
the new additions are frequent on these platforms and they also feature there consumers on their Instagram page
if they Upload a photo in their profile while tagging and using #dominos #khushionkidelivery etc which helps build
an engagement between the customer and dominos.
Consumer Insights -
• As a regular consumer of Dominos, I have seen dominos changed since my childhood and it
has only become better by campaigning correctly and smartly. The mobile application works
flawlessly and is easy to use, the addition of new Flavors every 6 months or so is appealing
and has an upper hand to their competitors. The only problem I and many other consumers
have is the increasing prices and compromising in there quantity, as they tend to have
decrease the customizations you can make when ordering Everyday value Pizza’s. Or else
Dominos is great and has an upper hand in the Indian Fast Food market. It is creative in their
advertisements and is loved by many.
