Marketing Minds runs a series of workshops focusing on LinkedIn for businesses
growing national and international markets, or wanting to build a brand presence for
themselves or for the business.
The Trainer: Anne Casey has over 20 years of experience in strategic marketing and
new business development both locally and internationally. What sets Anne apart is
her vast experience across multiple industries and ability to think strategically while
being practical. Anne has first-hand experience in using LinkedIn to generate new
business and extending her reach and influence. She has found that in New Zealand
LinkedIn is under-utilised and a vast opportunity exists for growing businesses and

In this training session, you learn how to build a ‘killer’ profile so that you will standout, and get yourself
found and build your reputation. We will also cover the etiquette on LinkedIn, including how to maximise
LinkedIn without upgrading your account, tools and search functionalities to find the right connections and
generate quality leads.
If you own a company, learn how the company page works and what you need to do to get the best use of
the LinkedIn advertising platform.
Afterwards you will be able to:
• 	 Have a LinkedIn profile that is optimized for your target market
• 	 Use LinkedIn confidently to extend and monitor your network and connections
• 	 Use LinkedIn to search, connect, nurture and generate leads and opportunities
• 	 Be visible to and be found by those interested in what you are able to offer
• 	 Know when to post an update or an article to stay top of mind and reach new audiences including
your target market
• 	 Promote and utilize LinkedIn advertising platform for your company
• 	 Build your credibility and confidence in others searching for you or your services.
Ready, Steady, Go! (Beginners)
This is a one day workshop for someone that has a basic profile or does not use LinkedIn on a regular basis.
You will get to curate your profile at this workshop and try the key functionalities of LinkedIn for yourself.
Investment: $360 + gst per person (NZTE funding may be applicable).
For You and Your Business (Intermediate)
This is a half day workshop and is suitable for those that have a basic understanding and is already an
occasional user on LinkedIn. You will also get to try out some of the functionalities and get familiar with these
at the workshop.
Investment: $250 + gst per person (NZTE funding may be applicable)

An amazing power of LinkedIn is the content publishing platform. This half day workshop is suitable for
those that already know how to use LinkedIn and want to become a thought leader in your field.
What you will learn:
In this workshop, you will learn why content marketing is important for B2B organisations and how LinkedIn
fits in. We will also cover how to plan your content strategy and to use LinkedIn and other broadcast
platforms to get your content out. You will learn how to determine the ideal content to write on and how to
structure powerful content and headline to be geared for optimum sharing.
Then explore ways to to reach your target audience and tactics on driving traffic to your profile or website via
LinkedIn and other digital channels. We will also cover fundamental PR tactics and how to get the maximum
reach and visibility for your effort beyond LinkedIn.
Afterwards you will be able to:
•	 Build a strategy for your organization to become a thought leader in your field
•	 Publish with confidence on LinkedIn and other blogging platforms
•	 Get the maximum reach for articles that you curate or shared from others within and outside of
