Advancement Communications
Recruited for this position to develop and implement crucial, mission-centric strategies for this higher education
environment. Providing marketing and communications for key initiatives, managing special projects & fundraising.
 Envisioned, developed, and orchestrated Marian’s first Giving Day, and Immaculate Conception Mass
fundraisers, effectively raising $50k for the University.
 Developed and executed a comprehensive multi-media marketing plan to attract guests for Marian’s screening of
“The American Nurse” documentary. Collaborating with the event committee and graphic arts department to
create the necessary content and execute the plan, which successfully attracted over 450 attendees.
 Managed multiple projects focusing on developing marketing collateral, including a 12-page, full color, magazine
that showcased the successes of Marian’s Advancement Team; handlingall aspects from initial idea to final print
including much of the photography - which saved $3k in production cost - and a turnaround of less than 30 days.

Responsible for the oversight, development, refining, and actualization of marketing plans,strategic direction, and
initiatives for the company.
 Conceptualized and developed the brand identity for a new, multi-million dollar restaurant and banquet facility;
creating all materials including website, social media, menus, POS materials, advertising and strategic
promotions. Providing marketing analytics to executive leaders to determine ROI.
 Modeled marketing strategies for 5 different divisions including Development, Construction, Landscaping,
Property Management, and Modern Dental.
 Refined and revitalized the Landscape Division’s brand image to coincide with new business strategies;
transforming online and collateral material to reflect a more upscale image, which was a more accurate reflection
of their high-end landscapingprojects for private homes and businesses.

 Transformed our “old-school” sales culture into a team that focused on business development instead of meeting

business. Modified performance requirements & support materials to focus on new sales efforts.
 Created online strategies that created new revenue streams for advertising, increasing growth in monthly billing

INTERNATIONAL PAPER, Cedarburg, WI 2000 – 2004
Senior Account Manager – Graphics Packaging
A key member of national account selling teams that specialized in total cost analysis of strategic customer packaging
needs, and continually focused on searching for opportunities to save on production and material costs.
 Responsible for 50% growth in graphics by driving the sales initiatives that secured contracts for both the Kohler
graphic account, and the Monsanto retail packaging account. This new business development improved the
overall selling price of the graphics packaging by 17%. Managed $5 million in sales.
 Collaboratively identified areas within production to reduce waste, making suggestions that contributed to a
plant-wide reduction in waste of 3%.
MENASHA CORPORATION – PROMO EDGE DIVISION, Milwaukee, WI 1996 – 2000
Design and Customer Service Manager
Provided oversight and supervision of the Customer Service department for this company that specializes in the design,
procurement and production of POS materials for consumer product companies. Offering turnkey solutions for product
launches and promotional campaigns.
 Part of the management team that drove a business unit turnaround; increasing sales by $7 million, and
contribution margins grew by 28% within 14 months.
