An Angel visits Mary
Mary was just an ordinary girl when God chose her to do something very special. One
day he sent the angel Gabriel to see her.
Don’t be afraid,’said the angel. God has sent me to tell you that you are going to have a
baby.
The baby will be God’s own Son and Jesus will be his name.’
‘But I don’t have a husband yet,’ said Mary.
How can I have a baby?
‘Nothing is impossible for God,’said the angel.
Trust him.
Mary was a little afraid, but she was also happy. She told Joseph about the angel’s
message and he promised to take care of her and God’s Son. Not long afterwards, mary found
out she was expecting a baby.
