2. Thank You for Making This
Year’s Congress our Best Yet!
Despite the uncertain market conditions with the low
price of oil, the world's largest FPSO Congress once
again gathered industry leaders from oil companies,
FPSO contractors, EPCs, financiers, legal firms and
solution providers to discuss the critical challenges and
opportunities facing the market for 2015 and beyond.
The Congress continued to reinforce its
position as the global platform for the FPSO
community to exchange ideas, with 702
delegates attending in 2015.
Key discussions centred around the low price of oil and
the implications that it has for the FPSO sector, but
more importantly, how the entire value chain must work
together to bring down costs and become more efficient
at delivering projects on time and on budget.
On behalf of the FPSO Congress project team, we bring
you the key highlights of our show this year!
ALL MAKING 2015 OUR BEST EVENT EVER!

Key Highlights of the Main
Congress Day One Include:
The Congress opened with keynote presentations from Duncan Peace,
Managing Director, Crondall Energy, Dave Hartell, Senior Development
Manager, Sea Lion, Premier Oil and Jerry Joynson, Technology Director,
SBM Offshore as they examined macro market trends and the big issue of
delivering projects on time and on budget.
The key theme of the morning plenaries examined the entire value chain,
and how oil companies, FPSO contractors and solution providers must
work together and hand-in-hand to bring down costs and eliminate
cumbersome processes in project delivery.
This was followed by our annual FPSO
Vessel Contractor Power Panel featuring
five leading C-Level Executives on their
thoughts and outlook on the FPSO market
and future opportunities. The panel
discussion was moderated by Duncan
Peace, the Congress Chairman.
Four dedicated streams after lunch offered delegates the opportunity to
enter sessions that focused exclusively on their area of expertise—Streams
A and B discussed technical and technological aspects for FPSOs, Stream
C offered critical insights into the commercial and contracting aspects of
the market while Stream D focused on concept development, FEED, project
management and successful delivery and execution of FPSO projects.
The day ended with a closing keynote from Jeffrey Sim, former CTO of
Yinson Production as he succinctly analysed and established the signposts
for market recovery and what the community can do to weather the storm.
Thereafter, delegates kicked back and relaxed at our annual FPSO Cocktail
Reception at the End of Day One. Hosted by Bureau Veritas, the reception
provided delegates the opportunity to network and kick back after a long
day of discussions and debate.

Key Highlights of the Main
Congress Day Two Include:
Day 2 kicked off with Puneet Sharma providing an illuminating insight to
the current state of the FPSO market, and competing energy trends and
demand.
Delegates were provided with a glimpse of what the future of the FPSO
market could look like in 2020 by Hassan Basma, CEO of HBA Offshore and
former CEO of Bumi Armada.
The crucial theme of partnerships and
collaboration in these difficult times was
exemplified by Einar Suanes, VP Projects,
Teekay Offshore and Rodrigo Lemos, FPSO
Business Director, Oderbrecht Oil and Gas
as they walked delegates through their
successful experience on delivering FPSO
projects in Brazil.
After lunch, delegates broke into four major streams again, with FPSO
field operations, technical aspects and commercial issues discussed in
great detail.
The Congress ended on a high note with Congress Chairman Duncan
Peace, Managing Director, Crondall Energy wrapping up the key takeaways
from the 2 days.

New Features at our
Congress This Year:
The FPSO
Network App:
We launched the FPSO Network App
this year, which provided delegates
all relevant information regarding
the Congress, from agenda, speaker
profiles, important announcements
and more.
Most importantly, to enhance all
delegates' networking opportunities,
all participants could uitilise the
FPSO Network App to connect with
each other, schedule introductions
and meetings, and communicate
over the phone!
Key Issues that Attracted
Delegates to This Year’s
Congress Include:
The low oil price environment and its implications
on the FPSO industry
Re-defining the value chain to efficiently deliver
FPSO projects on time and on budget
Collaboration and cooperation across the entire
value chain - Starting with the oil companies down to
the subcontractors
Maintaining High Operational Efficiency for
Existing FPSOs
Innovative, cost-effective technologies to help reduce
both capex and opex
Delegates were given the unique opportunity to experience first-hand
live technical demonstrations at our Vessel at the Congress.
Moving away from the standard discussion and formats, the Vessel
allowed delegates to really deep dive into the technical solutions of
their choice in an informal, intimate setting, giving them key technical
takeaways.
The Vessel had scheduled sessions during the morning, lunch and
afternoon breaks on both days, and the sessions were oversubscribed!
