Such molding system gives moulds which altogether require different combination
of Carbonaceous Additives properties. There's need of special type of customized
Carbonaceous Additives, hence Bhartia Pulverisers have produced “LUSTROUS”.

Since its inception in 1983, BP has been a pioneer in manufacturing Lustrous Coal
Base Additives entail in Sand Based Casting Industries. BP is a prominent name
when it comes to excellence and time bound delivery since more than three
decades.
The manufacturing unit of BP is based in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, Kolkatta and
soon another unit would be functional in Tamil Nadu.
•BP has the principal capacity in INDIA to produce Lustrous Additives - 55000mt pa
•It is the chief producer of Lustrous Additives in India - 36000 mt pa
•BP ensures that its Tech Team assists foundries to sort their sand related issues
and produce regular Sand Testing Reports for the same.

• Lustrous P3 is a unique blend developed by R&D dept of BP, which meets
demands for todays' High Pressure Moulding Lines
• Speciality of Lustrous P3 is that, it changes to coke at high temperature,
this action of Lustrous P3 fills voids at the mold/ metal interface

Specs : VM : 74.0 to 78.0%, Ash : -3.5% max. FC : By difference
Advantages:
• Lower ash built up in the system sand & higher permeability
• Lower new sand additions reducing cost
• Adaptable to mechanized addition due to excellent flowability
• Lower moisture additions leading to lower pin holes/blow hole porosity in castings
• Excellent as cast finish & peel resulting in lower shot blasting costs

C++ is the subsidiary product that after the process of machining electrodes, is
mainly used in metallurgy industry as carbon raisers.

Properties Top-quality Carbon Additive, High Carbon,
Low Sulphur and Nitrogen
Usage Improve the Carbon content in ductile iron foundry,
specially used in SG Grade.
C+
C+ is used to improve the Carbon content in steel-melting and ductile iron foundry.
The reason for use in Metallurgical Industry is the high fixed Carbon (Mid Sulphur
level) .

Sizes : 1-5mm, 1-10mm
Properties : High fixed carbon, moderate sulphur
Usage : Improve the carbon content in steel-making
and ductile iron foundry

BP COAT
Refratory Coatings
Gives Refractive Coating solutions for iron and Steel Foundries. Our speciality is to
service the RIGHT Coatings to foundries considering their current practices
improves Casting Quality, save time, reduce rejections and rework.
WATER BASED COATING- for MOLDS AND CORES
These types of coatings have excellent suspension characteristic, grants low
reactivity to metal oxides and gives excellent performance at high temperatures.
On account of nature of refractories used as fillers, BP COAT (15XX SERIES) is
permeable, allowing the gases generated from the decomposition of binders to
escape across the coating film without building excessive gas pressure. Apart
from giving excellent surface finish, these coatings results in reduced defects,
particularly surface defects like veining, sand burn-in, and metal penetration. We
have different products based on the combination of one of more refractories
mentioned below.
Graphite, Aluminum Silicate, Special Grade Aluminum Silicate, Zircon
SOLVENT BASED COATING - for SAND MOLDS /CORES
These coatings have high refractiveness which prevents sand fusion and metal
penetration at high pouring temperatures. They offer clean peel off resulting in
improve surface finish. Some of the coatings have higher active content and
needs further dilution with BP COAT 2017 which is a blend of organic Solvents. BP
COAT (20xx series) is designed for all type of coating applications like brushing,
spraying and dipping.

Specialty Coatings and Chemicals
BP COAT (300X series) is designed for centrifugal casted spun pipes. It gives good
adequate bond to the metal portion. It acts as a barrier between hot metal and
the metallic runner body thereby giving good peel-off
BP COAT (301X Series)
An Alumina based coating for centrifugal casting- vertical and horizontal. It can
also be used in static permanent molds and for liner manufacturers and the
production of centrifugally cast rolls.
BP COAT (41XX series) is a specially formulated parting and cleaning agent for
Green Sand Moulds, Cold Box cores and Shell Cores. The presence of aromatic
hydrocarbon released a thin film on the interface between pattern and mold/ core
and helps to control the sand sticking on the pattern. It can be ujsed by both
spraying and brushing.

Nedularisers - Ferro Silicon Magnesium
Inoculants
BA specialised Ferro Silicon inoculants offer highly effective inoculation for both Grey
and Ductile / S.G. Iron with excellent solubility and enhanced cleanliness.
Si-Inoc
Inoculants are added in liquid cast iron in order to provide the best and consistent
characteristics in the final casting. They are used to control matrix structure and avoid
casting defects.
Application & Effect:
Si-Inoc is a highly effective and readily soluble group of inoculants for Ductile Iron.
The combination of Aluminium and Calcium suppresses carbide formation in thin
sections and improves nodule count and shape.

Available in 0.2 x 0.7 mm, 0.7 x 2 mm, 2 x 6 mm

Ba-Inoc
Ferro Silicon Barium Base inoculants are also available with us. Our experienced and
knowledgeable technicians can advise on the best specification and sizing for furnace,
ladle or in stream addition of ferro silicon inoculant.
Application & Effect:
Ba-Inoc is a versatile and durable group of Barium based Ferro Silicon based inoculants
for grey and ductile cast iron. Barium, Aluminium and Calcium gives the alloy an excellent
inoculating effect over a wide range of applications.

Ferro Silicon Magnesium is made available by us under specifications Mg: 8-10%,
Ca: 1.5-2 mm, Re: 2-2.5%, Si: 44-50%, AI: 1% and in sizes of 5-15 mm (90% min) and 15-
25mm (90% min). With packaging availability in 25 kg Bag to 1 Mt Jumbo and Bags.
BB Alloys produces high quality nodulising agents which are Ferro Silicon based
alloys with magnesium and other active ingredients. They find wide applications in
the production of SG Iron and speciality grey iron castings for automobile industry.
The use of these nodulising alloys provides a number of distinct advantages in the
nodularisation of ductile iron. These include
 Higher quality castings through maximum nucleation and improved graphic
nodularity
 Fewer as-cast carbides in thin section castings for improved machinability and
reduced heat treatment costs
 Precise control of rare earth levels with a single alloy addition
 Higher levels of ferrite and lower hardness for a given composition and
section size
 Greater tolerance to slightly higher levels of pearlite promoting residual
elements
 Right alloy with controlled Ca and TRE
 Assists in reducing severity of reaction as well as for improving magnesium
recovery
 Alloys analyzed using X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer that provides for
consistent finish quality.

Such molding system gives moulds which altogether require different combination of Carbonaceous Additives properties. There's need of special type of customized Carbonaceous Additives, hence Bhartia Pulverisers have produced “LUSTROUS”. Lustrous For All Types Of Casting Lustrous Green Sand Coal Additive Bhartia Pulverisers is ISO 9001:2000 Certified Unit and a product of Bhartia Group. Since its inception in 1983, BP has been a pioneer in manufacturing Lustrous Coal Base Additives entail in Sand Based Casting Industries. BP is a prominent name when it comes to excellence and time bound delivery since more than three decades. The manufacturing unit of BP is based in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, Kolkatta and soon another unit would be functional in Tamil Nadu. •BP has the principal capacity in INDIA to produce Lustrous Additives - 55000mt pa •It is the chief producer of Lustrous Additives in India - 36000 mt pa •BP ensures that its Tech Team assists foundries to sort their sand related issues and produce regular Sand Testing Reports for the same.   • 4. 4 C++ C++ is the subsidiary product that after the process of machining electrodes, is mainly used in metallurgy industry as carbon raisers. Chemical F.C: 99% min, S: 0.03% Size 1-5mm, 1-10mm Properties Top-quality Carbon Additive, High Carbon, Low Sulphur and Nitrogen Usage Improve the Carbon content in ductile iron foundry, specially used in SG Grade. C+ C+ is used to improve the Carbon content in steel-melting and ductile iron foundry. The reason for use in Metallurgical Industry is the high fixed Carbon (Mid Sulphur level) . Our speciality is to service the RIGHT Coatings to foundries considering their current practices improves Casting Quality, save time, reduce rejections and rework. WATER BASED COATING- for MOLDS AND CORES These types of coatings have excellent suspension characteristic, grants low reactivity to metal oxides and gives excellent performance at high temperatures. On account of nature of refractories used as fillers, BP COAT (15XX SERIES) is permeable, allowing the gases generated from the decomposition of binders to escape across the coating film without building excessive gas pressure. Apart from giving excellent surface finish, these coatings results in reduced defects, particularly surface defects like veining, sand burn-in, and metal penetration. We have different products based on the combination of one of more refractories mentioned below. Graphite, Aluminum Silicate, Special Grade Aluminum Silicate, Zircon SOLVENT BASED COATING - for SAND MOLDS /CORES These coatings have high refractiveness which prevents sand fusion and metal penetration at high pouring temperatures. They offer clean peel off resulting in improve surface finish. Some of the coatings have higher active content and needs further dilution with BP COAT 2017 which is a blend of organic Solvents. BP COAT (20xx series) is designed for all type of coating applications like brushing, spraying and dipping. We have different products based on the combination of one or more refractories mentioned below: Graphite, Aluminum Silicate, Special Grade Aluminum Silicate, Zircon, Magnesite Specialty Coatings and Chemicals BP COAT (300X series) is designed for centrifugal casted spun pipes. It gives good adequate bond to the metal portion. It acts as a barrier between hot metal and the metallic runner body thereby giving good peel-off BP COAT (301X Series) An Alumina based coating for centrifugal casting- vertical and horizontal. It can also be used in static permanent molds and for liner manufacturers and the production of centrifugally cast rolls. BP COAT (41XX series) is a specially formulated parting and cleaning agent for Green Sand Moulds, Cold Box cores and Shell Cores. The presence of aromatic hydrocarbon released a thin film on the interface between pattern and mold/ core and helps to control the sand sticking on the pattern.   • 5. 5 Nedularisers - Ferro Silicon Magnesium Inoculants BA specialised Ferro Silicon inoculants offer highly effective inoculation for both Grey and Ductile / S.G. Iron with excellent solubility and enhanced cleanliness. Si-Inoc Inoculants are added in liquid cast iron in order to provide the best and consistent characteristics in the final casting. They are used to control matrix structure and avoid casting defects. Application & Effect: Si-Inoc is a highly effective and readily soluble group of inoculants for Ductile Iron. The combination of Aluminium and Calcium suppresses carbide formation in thin sections and improves nodule count and shape. Sizes: Available in 0.2 x 0.7 mm, 0.7 x 2 mm, 2 x 6 mm Packaging: 25 Kg Bags, Drums, Bulk Bags. The use of these nodulising alloys provides a number of distinct advantages in the nodularisation of ductile iron.
