untuk merumuskan, mengunakan dan menafsirkan
matematika dalam berbagai konteks masalah
kehidupan sehari-hari secara efisien. Matematika
yang dimaksudkan mencakup seluruh konsep,
prosedur, fakta dan alat matematika baik dari sisi
perhitungan, angka maupun keruangan (Danuari,
2017)

siswa untuk merumuskan, menggunakan
dan menginterpretasi matematika dalam
berbagai konteks.
Hal ini mencakup penalaran matematika
dan menggunakan konsep, prosedur,
fakta, dan alat matematis untuk
menggambarkan, menjelaskan dan
memprediksi fenomena.
Hal ini membantu seseorang dalam
mengenal peran matematika dalam
kehidupan dan membuat penilaian dan
keputusan secara rasional dan logis yang
dibutuhkan oleh warga Negara yang
konstruktif, terlibat aktif dan reflektif.

Peranan Literasi Matematika dalam
Sekolah Dasar
literasi matematika adalah tentang kegunaan atau
fungsi matematika yang telah dipelajari oleh seorang
siswa di sekolah. Kegunaan tersebut merupakan
kemampuan yang sangat penting bagi seseorang
untuk bertahan hidup di era informasi dan
pengetahuan saat ini yang sedang menghadapi
revolusi industri 4.0. Literasi matematika juga
membantu siswa untuk mengenali peran matematika
dalam kehidupan dan membantu siswa dalam
membuat ketetapan dan keputusan yang baik
sebagai warga yang konstruktif, terlibat aktif dan
reflektif.
