4. There are four countries: Northern
Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England.
• 1. Northern Ireland. The Symbol of Northern
Ireland is a shamrock and a red hand. They are
Irish.
• 2. Scotland. The symbol of Scotland is a
thistle. They are Scottish.
• 3. Wales. The Symbol of Wales is a daffodil.
They are Welsh.
• 4. England: The symbol of England is a rose.
They are English.

5. England
Every country has its own symbol.
Red rose is the emblem of England.
The flag of England is the red cross of
St.George.

6. Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland has its own
symbol- a shamrock.The flag is the
red cross of St.Patrick.

7. Scotland
The national symbol of
Scotland is the thistle and a white
flag of St. Andrew.

8. Wales
Wales has a daffodil, as a symbol.
There are many of them in the Wales
valleys.
