This document provides an overview of data visualization with maps and includes links to example maps showing the language of communities on Twitter in Europe, a map of science collaborations from 2005-2009, and a map showing poverty and the 2011 London riots. It also includes directions on merging datasets and uploading to CartoDB to visualize death rates by Irish county.
