1. QUESTION 6: WHAT HAVE YOU
LEARNT ABOUT TECHNOLOGIES
FROM THE PROCESS OF
CONSTRUCTING THIS PRODUCT?
BY BETHANY CARTER
2. BLOGGER
When doing my pre production tasks, I had first had to create
blog on the website ‘Blogger’.
As I had never used this website, or even had a blog
before, I had to learn how to upload all my posts from
other websites such as Slide share and Prezi, which was
vital in bringing all my work together.
3. PREMIER PRO
Premier Pro was the program I used to edit my
film on, which I was also new to using at the
beginning of the course. It was very important I
learnt how to use this this, so I had to practise
before editing my film. I learnt how to cut and
change clips, import my footage, render, add
music, adjust sound clips. I also learnt to export
my work once I’d finished, which I learnt had to
be a specific file type to be uploaded to
YouTube. There is still a lot more I need to learn
on Premier pro, such as using After effects, as I
only touched on some special effects in my
film.
4. SLIDE SHARE
I used slide share for my blog. It converted my word
documents into a up loadable version to blogger. I had to
create an account to use it, which I then uploaded my
documents to it, either privately or publically, which I learnt
had to be public to show up on my blog.
5. PREZI
I used Prezi for the first time when
creating my Genre Analysis. I
created a mind map with different
sections on my thriller research. I
had to create an account for this
which was free. From this I had to
learn how to put it on my blog
through a URL code.
6. CAMERA SKILLS
I had used a camera before hand which were similar to the camera I
borrow from school for my film. I used a much better quality
camera, 1100d camera making the shots very clear. I learnt how to
connect a Microphone onto the camera which was new to me,
which picked up the voices to make them louder as I wasn’t used to
having actors speaking in video.
