4. THE WATERLOOP

5. THE CONCEPT
A simple rectangular structure
is first taken into account.
The roof is further developed
into a parametric structure based on
the geometry of water.
Then the final design is
achieved which supports seamless
movement and a landmark.

6. The master plan comprises of a symmetric design with equal amount of
green spaces on both sides with parking spaces, refreshment parks and an open air
theatre at the end of the site. The central sanctum space is the heart of the site which
also includes a meditation space.

PLAN
The main focus of the design was to
create a seamless circulation space for the
people around the campus and to utilize the
natural water body that is in the centre of
the site.
The central node acts as a wayfinding
element as all spaces are accessible from
that point.

The Academic block has large’
wide corridors supporting light
and ventilation.
It also provides easy movement
throughout the building.
The most unique feature of this
design is the workshop space
which is present in the open
space which is formed by the
composition of the building.

HOSTEL BLOCK
The hostel block comprises of two
symmetric buildings with balconies and a central
recreational space for the students to engage in
various activities throughout seasons.

my friend Mohan, as he proposed a two –
storey home with four rooms and two living
areas.

The memorial was created in honour of a high
ranking person of a local community.
The idea was to create a green space with a central
sanctum with alternate circulatory paths for the visitors
to walk, communicate and spend time with each other.
