As reported on their web site: “The City of Kannapolis will be hosting the fourth annual Kannapolis Kares Day Saturday, September 26th. On this day of city-wide community service, the City actively seeks volunteer activities from civic, educational, neighborhood, business and religious organizations. The event will run from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm with command central being the Village Park building, located along West A and West C Streets and North Loop Road. Education is the theme for projects this year. You may create your own project or volunteer with another project. Breakfast will be served at 8:00 am and lunch from 11:30 to 12:30 pm at the park.” For more information on the city events please go to the City of Kannapolis Website or contact the city directly. Armor Insurance Services, Inc. is collecting material donations from citizens and corporate partners for “Family Promise” and the “Community Free Clinic.” Drop off your donations at our business office: 114 West A Street; Kannapolis, NC 28081.
