Bluon TdX™ 20 is a new generation of refrigerant delivering substantial
energy savings, equal to or better R-22 capacity and easy installation.
Bluon TdX 20 is a patent-pending, energy-focused refrigerant replacement for
R-22 HVAC equipment. TdX 20 is the only refrigerant purpose built for energy
efficiency, equal to or superior cooling capacity and cost savings.
When it comes to options for eliminating R-22 to achieve environmental
compliance there are essentially two choices: 1) Replace the R-22 units with
new R-410A equipment; or 2) Replace the R-22 refrigerant and keep the
existing equipment until the end of its lifespan.
While R-410A equipment is the industry’s answer for achieving R-22 phase-out

TdX 20 was purposely designed with an energy conservation focus. Third party engineering
studies and hundreds of field tests validate TdX’s average energy savings of 20%. The kWh
savings is achieved through reduced amp draw at the compressor combined with a shorter
compressor cycle time. TdX 20’s composition reduces the time it takes an HVAC unit to reach
optimal cooling/heating temperature and thus decreases the amount of time and electricity
needed to cool or heat a space. With the reduction in energy consumption using TdX 20, a
