Socicana currently has three big sustainability programs 7 farmers 11,328.8 hectares 7 farmers 108.44 hectares 103 farmers 15,812 hectares TOTAL 121 farmers 27,249 hectares In the international certifications (Bonsucro and RSB) the farmers are certified in groups and Socicana is the manager of the group Top Cana is a program of continuous improvement and sustainability for farmers, developed by Socicana. The program has its own protocol and criteria based on international certifications and Brazilian legislation

  18. 18. Bonsucro Credits Socicana's role: 1. Control the physical products sold under the Bonsucro seal and the availability of credits to be offered; 2. Offer credits on the platform; 3. Monitor the credit market; 4. Negotiate with buyers in the Off- Market mode; 5. Carry out the proportional distribution of credits sold among certified producers; 6. Assist in administrative issues related to negotiation; 7. Monitor the transactions.

Great Conquests • Socicana played an important role in articulating Bonsucro certification for independent rural producers; • Socicana was the first farmers association in Latin America to occupy a seat on the Bonsucro Members Council; • Socicana was responsible for the first independent sugarcane producers in Brazil certified by Bonsucro with chain of custody and was also responsible for the first Bonsucro certification of pre-sprouted cane seedlings (MPB) in the world; • Socicana was chosen as RSB's partner in Brazil for the implementation of the certification project for small producers, including the structuring of a specific RSB standard for groups of small producers in a group certification system; • Articulation for the creation of a pioneer line of rural credit with specific costing for producers with sustainable practices; • Articulation of the creation of an investment fund used exclusively to finance rural producers with sustainable practices; • Socicana made the first sale of Bonsucro sugarcane credits in the world. <a href='https://br.freepik.com/vetores/circulo'>Círculo vetor criado por macrovector - br.freepik.com</a>
