2. In my group there were four of us that wanted to do a Paranormal Activity style film. We
liked the idea of horror and the Paranormal Activity style hasn’t been covered from
anyone at our school before. We would make it like Paranormal Activity as we would
make it look like the actors are using a hand held camera themselves.
The story:
A young boy babysitting in a normal middle class house who then decides to throw a
party when weird things would happen such as weird noises and lights flashing. He would
go searching around the house to see if anyone was in there. He would then see a black
figure and from there we would find out that he is being haunted by his younger brother
who had died years ago.
Why we haven’t done this idea:
After speaking to our teacher about this idea we have decided to completely change
what we are going to do for our film. The story could get quite confusing for some
viewers and not that interesting. As we would be filming all around the house it would
take longer to do and there would be a lot of running around which wouldn’t make the
set look that good. Because we planned for the actor to throw a party this means there
would be a lot more people in the house which would make it very crowded and hard for
us to film. Also because we planned for it to be in a Paranormal Activity style with the
actor using the hand held camera, this could have been a problem for us too.
