It was brilliant to see how engaged they were
in the building activity; they worked well
together in small teams and were completely
focused on the task with team-work evident
The session gave the students an insight into
the various areas of the construction industry
and made it clear that opportunities were
equal for girls and boys

BBS Schools Engagement Programme works with schools to raise awareness and promote the fantastic career opportunities
within the built environment and equip young people with the skills they need for the world or work.
We work in partnership with our professional partners within the built environment industry to create interactive activities for
students, helping them to learn, work as a team, build confidence, skills, resilience and aspiration. Activities are shaped
entirely around the needs of each school, creating a bespoke programme of activity to help inspire young people about the
built environment.
