Chalet Mermille
Real jewel, this marvellous chalet, built 4years ago by a
renowned architect, Renaud Chevallier (website), will offer
an absolute comfort in a fantastic greenery
environment.
Only 500m from Chamonix downtown, the chalet is also
located to a walking distance from the arrival slopes of
the Brévent, the Savoy plains; facing the river and the
greeneries, but most important, in front of the Chamonix
free Shuttle stop, which links the 4 stations.
The chalet is also located from a walking distance from
the Gulf, the Praz Paradise, the tennis courts, and the
swimming pool. Its South exposition guaranties sun all
along the day and an extraordinary view on the Mont-
Blanc and The Drues.

2. The Savoy, at 500m from the chalet, links the
slopes and resort of Brévent-Flégère,
Chamonix, and is the meeting point for the
ski schools, as well as a great spot for
sledge. Near the city centre, you can enjoy a
nice mulled wine in the late afternoon.
Nothing easier after it to come
back following the river, which will
guide you to the chalet.

3. The Chalet was conceived to be
warmly welcoming and
comfortable for all the family, the
space has been optimized, and
the materials are first quality.

4. Chalet entrance
Storage room for ski gear, skis and
ski shoes.

5. The dining room and the living
room are facing the Mont-Blanc
massif, and the bay windows,
south oriented, bring sun and light
all day long.
The kitchen is fully furnished with modern equipment
(dishwasher, micro-wave oven, fridge) plus numerous
kitchenware, which enable any type of food cooking.
We also have a service for « cheese fondue » for 6
people.

6. The bathrooms are
modern and spacious,
equipped with finest
materials.
Subfloor heating and
heating panels bring
warm comfort.
The twin bed bedroom is also the one with the
bathtub, convenient for small children.
Please, be considerate and use the heating
sparingly, to save energy, and avoid your room to be
transformed into a sauna…

7. Both bedrooms have shelves and basket
to organize your clothes.
Subfloor heating in each room, with
individual temperature control device for
more comfort.

8. The mezzanine is an additional space,
where 2 people can sleep. The toilets in
the living room, equipped with a
washbasin, guarantee more comfort for
the guests sleeping in the mezzanine.
There is a remote control device in the
m e z z a n i n e to c l o s e t h e c u r t a i n s
automatically for the Velux windows.

9. Logistic matter: the best way to use the dryer is
to hang it in the mezzanine stairs. You won’t see
it from the living room, and the wood will absorb
the humidity very quickly.
The space offers many drawer chests, and
you might enjoy a DVD in the mezzanine,
where is the TV.
For the Internet wireless connexion, please
use the login and password at the back of
the modem, near the TV.

10. You have 1 parking lot reserved,
5724, as shown in yellow on the
map.
Should you have 2 cars, there is a
public car park across the street.

11. The chalet was conceived with new
green materials to limit CO2 release
and global warming effect, and was
featured in different publications.

12. Everything was conceive to enhance
the space, the view and the light,
from the spectacular view on the
mountains.

13. However, should you had any issues
with the remotes, please do not
hesitate to ask for help.
