Union cowork, a vibrant coworking chain in Southern California with �ve locations, is renowned for
its innovative workspace o�erings and diverse community. As part of its ongoing e�orts to create
a unique and engaging environment for its members, the Community Manager, Gretchen, wanted
to introduce a new and exciting perk to its repertoire.
The Challenge
The coworking space market is increasingly competitive. Union Cowork was seeking a way to
di�erentiate itself and provide a unique, enjoyable perk that would attract new members and
satisfy current ones. Gretchen knew that the perk had to be innovative, convenient, and o�er a
level of quality that was in line with the rest of Union cowork's services.
The Solution: CUBO
Introduced to Gretchen and Union by CUBO's
dedicated team, CUBO's automated, on-site
functional beverage pods and machine quickly stood
out as a potential game-changer. Gretchen was
struck by the novelty and convenience of the
concept. She saw its potential to create an exciting
point of di�erentiation and decided to introduce it
at their Arts District location.
Conclusion + Lessons
This case study provides strong evidence of
the value of innovative perks in coworking
spaces. CUBO has shown that it's more
than just an amazing solution for functional
beverages. It's a valuable amenity that can
signi�cantly contribute to the growth of
coworking spaces and o�ces by enhancing

successful integration of CUBO at Union
Cowork illustrates the potential of such

The Impact: Immediate Success and Expansion
The introduction of CUBO into the Arts District location was an immediate success. Existing
members were fascinated by the convenience and quality of CUBO's o�erings, and new members
were attracted by the unique array of both hot and cold o�erings. Even day pass users were drawn
to the accessibility and quality of the machine's soups and boosters.
Given the positive response at the Arts District location, Union cowork’s team decided to roll out
CUBO at their three other locations - Glendora, North Park, and San Marcos. Each of these
locations experienced similar positive reactions from their members.
Personal Experiences: Quality and Convenience
The members became avid users of CUBO. Gretchen and her team personally expressed
admiration for the machine's ability to dispense hot soups and cold beverages with perfect
consistency and temperature. She appreciated CUBO's innovation and the positive impact it had
