manufacturing of custom plastic injection molded products, molds and

Our immaculate 33,000 square foot facility in Milford, NH, our sister company
DataED located in Salem, NH and DataED Asia, located in Shenzhen China,
have combined sales of over $100 million annually in the design and
manufacturing of plastics and electronics.

Our full-service design capabilities provide an efficient transition from a program’s initial concept through mass production. We
specialize in creating the best possible injection mold design for OEM application, performance and manufacturability. We review
and optimize your part design, help select the appropriate molding process, choose the right materials and then design and build
the mold. Many customers supply a complete design; others give us a sketch. In any case, our technical experts will make sure
the final design is robust so your parts will perform to your and our uncompromising standards.

Our technicians and engineers have decades of experience producing tight-tolerance, highly-complex tooling for the medical,
electronics, industrial and consumer markets. Our prototyping options include 3D printing and pre-production and quick turn
injection mold tooling using soft alloy steels and aluminum.
Mold Making
It all begins with a robust mold design, without a good mold, there is no way we could manufacture the high-quality plastic parts
synonymous with Hy-Ten Plastics. Understanding the part design lets us provide a solid mold design, which gives our customers
the high quality plastic parts they need to succeed. Our cross-functional design team, made up of representatives from our
engineering, tooling, manufacturing and quality departments, oversee every mold from design to build to prototype to production.
Our molds are created in the USA with our preferred domestic suppliers, or at Data-Ed Asia (our sister company), where we have
design engineers on staff. Expertly designed injection molding molds should take into account variables like resin viscosity,
material shrinkage, gate location and specialty release mechanisms, at Hy-Ten we do all that and more. With our team of expert
mold and tool designers, we will design and ensure the perfect tool design for your part. Come to us first with your most difficult
tooling challenges, our team has the experience and ability to solve your issue.
Hy-Ten’s state-of-the-art tool vault is environmentally controlled and managed with integrated asset management software. We
have made significant capitol investments to ensure our customer’s molds are stored properly and maintained to the highest
standards.
