I am a registered nurse specializing in aesthetic injections, laser treatments and client wellness. I have over 20
years of nursing experience with 13 of those years spent in dermatology clinics. During those 13 years, I have
worked daily with two dedicated dermatologists, thus advancing my knowledge of general and aesthetic
dermatology and laser treatments. With a rigorous 10-year mentorship and clinical practice, I perfected my
injection skills of dermal fillers, volume enhancers, collagen stimulators, lypolisis, neurotoxins and P.R.P.
injections. Over the years I continued my medical training and aesthetic dermatology courses in Europe, the
USA and Canada. While seeking to balance between aesthetic treatments and promoting general health and
well being of my clients, I also completed Metabolic Endocrinology studies. In 2013, I earned a board
certification as a “Diplomate” of Anti-Aging medicine. Today, with my new clinic, I continue my aesthetic and
anti-aging education and have chosen to be part associations that are “pertinent and relevant” to the high
standards of aesthetic nursing.

I am the owner of La Clinique medico-esthétique Peause an Aesthetic Med-Spa Clinic in Longueuil, Québec (on
the south Shore of Montreal). The clinic is under the medical supervision of Dr Louise Comeau, MD, member of
the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medecine. I offer clients a wide variety of services and education to
improve the quality, health and youthful appearance of the skin. The services include but are not limited to
educating clients on skinaging, damages and prevention. Treatments include chemical peels, laser treatments
such as IPL, vascular and Co2 lasers. Injection treatments include dermal fillers, volume enhancers, collagen
stimulators, lypolisis, neurotoxins and P.R.P. injections. I practice only in a facility that is deemed appropriate
for medico-esthétique (Med-Spa) procedures. This is why I built "La Clinique médico-Esthétique Peause" to
receive my clients safely and comfortably.
Nurse Preceptor-Independent Clinical Educator
Galderma
August 2014 – January 2015
While contracted by Galderma as a Nurse Preceptor and Independent Clinical Educator, I conducted training
seminars educating physicians and nurses alike on the client's safety, assessment and evaluation, best practices
and demonstrated injection techniques using Restylane, Perlane, Dysport and other Galderma injectable
products. I am proud to be among Registered Nurse Injector that mentor and coach using approved and safe
teaching techniques.

Clinique Dermatolaser Dr Andrée Mathieu-Serra Dermatologue
November 2004 – June 2014
For almost 10 years I was the head nurse at one of Montreal's leading medical aesthetic Dermatology clinic in
Montréal Canada. During this period, I performed medical and aesthetic procedures with a complete selection
of lasers and radio-frequency devices for facial rejuvenation and body contouring. I also performed client
assessments and aesthetics consultations. I injected daily with dermal fillers, volume enhancers, collagen
stimulators, lypolisis, neurotoxins and P.R.P. injections. In my last 2 years at the clinic, I added anti-aging
consultations to my listof treatments.

2. Registered Nurse - Aesthetic Specialist
Laserderm Clinic Dr. Sharyn Laughlin, Dermatologist
November 1996 – April 1999
As a registered nurse, I performed various laser treatments including but not limited to tattoo removal, port
wine stains removal, hair removal. I also provided assistance to Dr Sharyn Laughlin during various medical
aesthetic treatments. Even back in 1997 the first dermal fillers were arriving at the clinic giving me learning
and practice opportunities to take on injections later again in 2004.
Registered Nurse- Glengarry Memorial Hospital:
2000 – 2004
After leaving the Laserderm clinic, I returned to Greater Ottawa area hospitals and fine-tuned my overall
nursing skills. Iheld positions on medical, chronic care and emergency units. Just before joining Dr André
Mathieu-Serra in 2004, I held the "nurse in charge " position on all shifts at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital.
Education
American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine
2012 – Present
I successfully completed my certification and received my board certification as a Diplomate of Anti-Aging
Medicine (2013). I am continuing my education and I am presently enrolled in the following two courses.
- Fellowship in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine (Summer Summit 2015)
- Advanced Metabolic Endocrinology certification (Module 1-A)

I graduated with honors from the Nursing Degree program on June 16th 1995.
Medical Training
Over the past 20 years I have continued medical courses (ie: ACLS, TNCC, ENPC etc.) most of them in the first 7
years while in clinical and hospital settings. I am continuing Medical Training via continuing education
programs like that of the Dermatology Nurses Association CE Center and others.
Advance Aesthetic Education
Over the past 14 years I have attended a significant numbers of aesthetic courses that include; seminars,
conferences, work shops, “Inject now Academy” - Anteis, Face meetings (cadaver lab) - Allergan, Nurse journal
Club- Allergan and Academy Symposia and countless others. I have also attended many such courses for laser
and radio frequency technologies. A complete list of these courses and accreditation is available upon request in
a PDF doc. I am continuing my aesthetic education by attending Allergan Nurse journal Club, attending in
house dermal filler trainings with the various pharmaceutical companies. Also, my recent participation with
the CSPSN Task Force has permitted an exceptional networking opportunity with knowledgeable certified
aesthetic nurse injectors.
Nurse Preceptor / Independent Clinical Educator
I have experience with training and mentoring others. I have provided training for various laser and
pharmaceutical companies. For example, I have trained clients for Nexgen on the “Accent” radio frequency
device, for MD Medical on Anteis dermal fillers injections, for Regenlab for PRP injections, for Galderma for
dermal fillers and neurotoxin injections.
