Timesheets provide the time spent hours by the employee on the project. So that they can measure the planned project over the actual project in progress. Profitability = Invoiced + To invoice - Timesheet costs.

2. INTRODUCTION
❖ In any kind of business firm, it is necessary to know the profitability of a project.
❖ Profitability decides the existence of a project service or not.
❖ Timesheets provide the time spent hours by the employee on the project. So that they can
measure the planned project over the actual project in progress.
❖ Profitability = Invoiced + To invoice - Timesheet costs.

3. ❖ Project profitability can be effectively calculated by employees timesheet on a project.
❖ Things displayed on it (Image 1):-
● TASKS: Piece of the project that can be assigned to employees to perform a portion of
the project. A task can be again split into sub-tasks.
● PLANNING: Planning is the same as forecast in Odoo 12. It refers to the assumed time
to complete each task.
● OVERVIEW: Overview is the overall report of the project in accordance with its
timesheets and sales order. It shows the complete details of the project like timesheet
hours, forecast, profitability, etc.
❖ Overview gives the information about profitability, if it is not shown click on edit and select
Billable (Image 2).

5. ❖ When selected Billable (Image 2) new sub page appears fill the details in it. Refer Cybrosys
video to know in detail link provided in 3rd last slide.

6. ❖ You can select billable when creating a project. But Only if timesheet module is installed and
added.

7. ❖ In Overview we can see details like Hours recorded, Profitability.

8. ❖ Time by people.

9. ❖ Can check all employees timesheet by clicking on to their names and can choose a
single employee from their.

10. ❖ Can check each employees timesheet by clicking on to their names.

11. ❖ Timesheets and Planning details along with the time used will be listed, also its
sale order can be seen.
