Our vision
Communications are integral to each charity’s
work for a better world. Our vision is a charity sector
that values and uses effective communications.

Our mission
We aim to improve the standard of
communications and champion its role in the
sector. We seek to represent, support, inspire,
connect and inform our members and the wider
charity communications community.
Key achievements 2011-12: financial

Income:        £193,415
Expenditure:   £200,782

Balance of funds at

Current reserves (cash in
bank at Feb 2013): £69,348

  •   Individual members grew from 191 to 224 (now 271)
  •   Organisational members grew from 36 to 68 (now 117)
  •   Corporate members grew from 13 to 24 (now 35)
  •   We facilitated 61 mentoring partnerships

  • 3. Our vision Communications are integral to each charity’s work for a better world. Our vision is a charity sector that values and uses effective communications. Our mission We aim to improve the standard of communications and champion its role in the sector. We seek to represent, support, inspire, connect and inform our members and the wider charity communications community.
  • 4. Key achievements 2011-12: financial Income: £193,415 Expenditure: £200,782 Balance of funds at year end: (£304) Current reserves (cash in bank at Feb 2013): £69,348
  • 5. Key achievements 2011-12: membership • Individual members grew from 191 to 224 (now 271) • Organisational members grew from 36 to 68 (now 117) • Corporate members grew from 13 to 24 (now 35) • We facilitated 61 mentoring partnerships “There is so much knowledge within the sector and some great innovations happening across the board. CharityComms provides an invaluable network for this to be shared to the benefit of us all.” Hannah Essex, associate director communications, TeachFirst
