Enjoy the benefits of membership by joining one of our YMCA Family Centers.
Savings on summer camp is just one of the ways your family can benefit by
being a member of the Y. Learn how you and your family can grow in spirit,
mind and body by taking a tour of one of our YMCA Family Centers.
FINANCIALASSISTANCE
Financial assistance is available for qualifying families thanks to generous
contributions from supporters of our Annual Campaign. Assistance
is awarded based on available funds, and the application process is
confidential. Please call 305 357 6622 (in Miami-Dade), 954-334-9622 (in
Broward), or your YMCA Family Center for more information. Many summer
camps at the Y in Miami-Dade also accept ELC School Readiness.
MOREABOUTTHECHILDREN’STRUST
Sites indicated by a symbol in this guide are funded in part by The
Children’s Trust. The Trust is a dedicated source of revenue established by
voter referendum to improve the lives of children and families in Miami-Dade
County. This partnership enables us to offer enhanced learning opportunities
and certified teachers at many of our sites.

THEYISALLABOUTMORE.The more support,
guidance and opportunities we give kids...the more amazing qualities
they’ll get out. The more they get out, the more they can achieve
growing up. That’s why we provide kids a healthy, caring environment
of fun, learning and belonging to help them reach their fullest potential.
And that’s why we celebrate Healthy Kids Day, our biggest day of the
year devoted to kids and MORE!

WaterSafetyandSwimLessons
Broward County leads the nation in accidental drowning deaths among
children under 4, and Miami-Dade is second. Drowning Prevention is a
priority for the YMCA in South Florida. Each year the YMCA educates
parents and the community on the risks of drowning and need for
drowning prevention measures like water safety and swim lessons. Plus, we
provide free swim lessons to hundreds of children to make them safer in,
on and around the water.
