Capability Assessment
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 ERP solution in
Sales, Projects, Rental, CRM, Finance and Service modules. This includes configuration
settings, setting and configuration of workflows and security profile and privileges. Worked
closely with the Business and Functional Consultants over a 2 & half year period in
understanding how Dynamics AX works in all modules for an ERP solution.
• Ran 2 successful User Acceptance Testing phases in Singapore and Hong Kong for over 50
users that including training the users in understanding the AX solution as well as executing

and outstanding defects.
• Worked closely with Project and Senior Managers in assessing the test resources required to
undertake new and pipeline project work. Strong skills in assessing and matching the skill sets
required to undertake and perform the required testing. Ability to assess the testing
requirements needed to perform testing for to Business as usual testing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills both within the team and with external vendors. Ability to defuse
any situation that could cause issues within the test team and can identify these issues before
they arise.
• I have excellent skills in training and identifying skill gaps and have put a framework in place to
minimize areas that could cause issues within the test team.
• Strong advocate in mentoring less experienced test analysts and coordinators allowing them to
gain experience and confidence while still learning their own role. This also extends to the key
business users during the handover of the developed system. Encouraged all team members to
participate in training activity/support once the system was deployed into a live environment.
This was a key area that solidified the knowledge of the test team to the business users and
reinforced the support available to the operational Business staff.

Employment History/Experience:
Senior Test Lead (Hastings Deering) January 2013 - Current
• Worked with the Solution Architect in understanding and configuring the AX solution as per
the Business's requested design. This including setting up the security roles and privileges,
configuring the various workflows and updating the configuration settings as a System
Administration user in multiple environments.
• Ran 2 successful User Acceptance Test phases in Singapore and Hong Kong for 50 + users.
This included training the users on the workings of Dynamics AX, troubleshooting any issues
encountered to ensure minimal downtime and executing all test cases applicable to the Stream
they were working in. Also allowed the users to grow during the 4 week UAT phase to allow
them to execute and run their own Business scenarios that they currently run in the Business, so
they could see how the new system could do they task they did in the old legacy system.
• Set up and managed an offshore test team to provide testing support and guidance for the
implementation of a global ERP solution for the Sime Darby Industries Group (China,
Malaysia, Singapore and Australia).
• Managed all defects raised by the test team against Business Requirements’, using Team
Foundation Server and HP Quality Centre, including investigating all defects raised and
directing the issue to the appropriate Vendor or Business resource for action.
• Liaised and corresponded directly with Business Process Architects and Project Managers to
ensure the testing team understood and could write and execute test cases in line with the
Business Processes and requirements.
Global Test Lead (Rio Tinto) July 2011 - December 2012
 Managed the successful global rollout of 13 project releases into production, from the initial
build phase through to final implementation and go-live. Managed multiple projects releases
(up to 4) moving through the environments concurrently and I am responsible for managing,
performing quality checkpoints and reporting on their overall progress to ensure the latest
project does not impact the 60,000 global users.
 Ensure the Quality of every release meets the highest standard in relation to Testing
(Development, Quality Assurance & Pre-Production environments), Defect Management, both
throughout the Release and post go-live activities.
 Responsible to ensure the Project team successfully builds, tests, resolve defects and maintains
the delivered system for a set period after it has been successfully migrated to production.

 Manage a team of 5 Test Co-Ordinators and 4 automation testers in implementing the ERP SAP
solution globally.
 Report on the status of the current project, including testing progress, Quality checkpoint
outcomes and Defect Management, highlighting any potential risk early to Senior Management.
 Facilitate test scope review meetings between the Project Managers, Functional Specialist and
Support Subject Matter Experts to determine and agree on the testing requirements to be
undertaken in the Quality Assurance client.
 Facilitate Quality Assessment checkpoints to assess each requirement against the predetermined
criteria to determine if the requirement can progress to the next work package.
 Review current processes and policies ensuring they are up to date. Re-write any process that is
not current or has changed and present any updates process to the Solution Delivery Team.
 Conduct Information sessions to the Project Managers and the delivery teams outlining the
processes and policies that are required to be followed for the successfully implementation of a
Release.
 Prepare and present a Go-No/Go presentation pack to the Business Solution Management team
outlining all the requirements and testing performed during the Release. Also present any open
defect that will be moved into the production environment outlining how each defect will
impact the business, including the workaround the business will need to undertake until it has
been resolved and closed.
Test Manager (Aurora Energy) January 2011 - Jun 2011
 Responsible for managing and resourcing the testing test requirements in delivering a system
that allows for consumers in Tasmania to select the Energy Company they wish to supply
electricity to their household/business.
