Zeus a cloud-based service for application developers, operators and administrators who want insights from their logs and metrics data, from any source, in one place. You can send data to the service, and then process, analyze and visualize in interesting ways. Zeus allows data to be sent from public or private servers, virtual instances, cloud services, applications, machines, IOT devices, network devices and more. You can use standard agents such as fluent, syslog, logstash, collectd, and more. You can even feed data from Twitter, temperature sensors, Raspberry Pi, etc., store it in the service and process it in interesting ways. The service also provides built-in, modern, dashboarding and visualization capabilities. Zeus can be used to manage application deployments, perform IT troubleshooting and problem analysis, and root-cause security events. You can think of Zeus as an assurance stack in the cloud. In this session we will review the logs and metrics management APIs of Zeus and see examples of how it can be used to manage and analyze events by building a real-world application.
