QMS-Induction- 001 2 QMS-Induction- 001 Site HSE Induction(if applicable)  If fire alarm sounds leave by main exit and muster on grass area adjacent main gate, where a staff member will conduct a role call.  PPE must be worn if entering workshop training areas.  Location of toilets- Presently one unisex located next to kitchen.  Designated smoking area, outside front yard gate in smoking shelter.  Mobiles on silent and should not be used until induction complete or during a break.  Any safety issues you become aware of please advise a member of staff.

QMS-Induction- 001 7 QMS-Induction- 001 Company History  Esk Offshore Ltd was founded in 1988 to provide skilled Service Technicians to support one of the leading Service Companies UK operations  Due to changes in waste management legislation and various client mergers the growth of Esk Offshore continued into Europe, Asia, North Africa and Azerbaijan.  Since early 2000 Esk Offshore Ltd continues to supply personnel to over 35 different countries and in 2015 we opened our own training centre  We also continue to receive requests for service provision worldwide in different service roles and have expanded in to rental equipment in 2020

QMS-Induction- 001a 9 QMS-Induction- 001a QMS Policy We are currently accredited to ISO 9001:2015 by NQA The ISO 9001 standard is regularly reviewed and updated. Standards are being revised to mirror the requirements of the three international standards, 9001, 18001 & 14001 The latest revision to the quality standard is ISO 9001: 2015.

QMS-Induction- 001 11 QMS-Induction- 001 Drug Screen, Medical & Survivals Documents  You will have carried out a pre-employment 10 part Drug Screen to comply with company regulations.  If you have any underlying medical issues, or are on medication, have any dental issues etc., please inform Claire.  After completion, a copy of your completed medicalsurvival will be sent to the Esk Offshore for filing.  In due course a copy of the document will be forwarded to you, which MUST be carried with you on all work duties along with passport.

QMS-Induction- 001 12 QMS-Induction- 001 Drug Screen, Medical & Survivals Documents:  When attending any regular medical checks & survivals, you MUST have some form of identification on your person i.e. Passport or Driver license.  All medical & survivals (refreshers) will be arranged via Claire Campbell & you will be informed by phonemail. QMS-Induction- 001 13 QMS-Induction- 001 PPE  PPE All PPE ordered on confirmation of employment will require to be collected by employee from local base (Note Esk PPE is your Primary PPE)  Due to our various clients; in some cases PPE will be picked up from their facility.  Note: If you do not receive Client PPE before your Check in, you take your Esk PPE.!  Do not turn up without PPE  PPE should be CHECKED prior to departure from the office base or client facility.  PPE Once the work wear is in need of replacement (1 year minimum),  Coordinator will order your PPE and inform you by mail when it is ready to be collected.

QMS-Induction- 001 14 QMS-Induction- 001 Liability & Travel Insurance  Esk Offshore hold Liability for Medical & Travel insurance and engineers will be asked to carry a copy of this certification at all times.  All employees must download the AIG Business Travel Assistance App to allow any URGENT medical assistance during work duties with the client.  Our recruitment partners NES Global Talent and Oil Consultants, etc. may contact you regarding travel/liability etc. if seconded on certain jobs

QMS-Induction- 001 15 QMS-Induction- 001 Assignment Duties Clients will contact ESK Offshore Ltd via a call-off system to allow allocation of engineers based on experience, previous rig knowledge and/or Supervision levels.  Brian Campbell will assign personnel to the client.  The engineers will be told in advance by Esk of the proposed work duty (where possible).  On confirmation of the trip, details on the rig name, check-in and travel, will be provided by mail to the Engineer  All employees should deal directly with Brian Campbell or Claire Campbell on assignments not the clients.  Point of Contact – Brian Campbell 01224 937400 bcampbell@eskoffshore.com or  Claire Campbell 01224 937403 ccampbell@eskoffshore.com  All employees should deal directly with Brian Campbell on assignments NOT the clients.

QMS-Induction- 001 16 QMS-Induction- 001 Assignment Duties  The engineer should ‘REPLY TO ALL’ on any e-mail to confirm that they have received and understood the information.  If Brian Campbell & Claire Campbell are not on original mail (Client communications included) PLEASE ENSURE you copy them on reply also.  On arrival to the rig site the engineers will report to the shift supervisor who will allocate work duties, and return flight details upon completion of the trip.  No Esk Service ticket is issued, as the client will normally have you use theirs however you need to inform us of the details for wage imbursement.

QMS-Induction- 001 17 QMS-Induction- 001 Lateness for Work/ Missed Check-In  For any absence or late arrival due to illness, injury or for any other reason, you must personally inform your supervisor as soon as is practicable  Explaining symptoms and information on your expected return to work date (and prior to your check-in time wherever possible).  You must inform Brian Campbell at earliest opportunity of your lateness to ensure he has time to reschedule work patterns.  If you are unable to do this personally, you are requested to ask someone to telephone on your behalf. Subsequent to this, you must keep your Manager informed of your progressreasons personally.

QMS-Induction- 001 18 QMS-Induction- 001 Lateness for Work/ Missed Check-In  Over-sea’s work – please ensure you take the contact details for the region you are travelling to if applicable.  It is essential that you are ready to commence work at your requested travel date/time as other employees and the business depend upon you and your commitment.  Ensure you have flight details etc., from the company your are to be working with as Esk will not be arranging flight details this is the responsibility of the client.  However please CC, Brian with details to ensure he is aware of any arrangements.

QMS-Induction- 001 22 QMS-Induction- 001 Pension Point of Contact – www.thepeoplepension.co.uk 0300 2000 444  After a qualifying period of three months you will automatically be enrolled into the company pension scheme. The pension company will be in touch with you regards this and your options, in due course.  The law requires both employer and employee contributions to gradually increase from 6April 2018.  This is being introduced in stages to help you better prepare for the future. Here’s how the levels of contributions look: Employer minimum contribution Employee contribution Tax relief on employee contribution*3 Total minimum contribution Until 5 April 2018 1% 0.8% 0.2% 2% 6 April 2018- 5 April 2019 2% 2.4% 0.6% 5% 6 April 2019 onwards 3% 4% 1% 8%

QMS-Induction- 001 23 QMS-Induction- 001 Travel Expenses & Expenses  In UK region, reasonable travelling expenses, where incurred in the performance of an employee’s travel to and from the airport/heliport, will be reimbursed for hours out with 8am- 8pm on any day.  Consult HR Manual for detailed explanation of this process  Travel expenses must be submitted within 3 days from conclusion of your trip

QMS-Induction- 001 24 QMS-Induction- 001 Reimbursement of Expenses  Reimbursement will be subject to employees providing receipts or other evidence of payment along with the reason for each expense, on an Esk Offshore ‘Expense form’.  Expense forms will be provided by the office and must be submitted in a timely manner.  NOTE: Each individual job will require separate expenses forms to be completed.  Sometimes you may do work for the same company but on different jobs, or different rebill requirements, ensure you complete and have signed the separate expense claims.  If completed wrongly then the risk is you will not receive payment

QMS-Induction- 001 25 QMS-Induction- 001 Reimbursement of Expenses  Esk Offshore Ltd will reimburse employees for pre-approved expenses incurred by employees in the performance of their duties.  General guideline exists which details what expenses our clients are willing to pay. (follows)  This guide will be sent to you by e-mail with the HR Manual,  NB. The guide may be subject to changes by client and will be forwarded to you as required.  Review the guide prior to completing expenses to ensure you claiming as per agreements.  Ensure that all check in times that you are claiming an expense for (helicopter or fixed wing flight) are on expense form against transport claim.

QMS-Induction- 001 26 QMS-Induction- 001 Injury Response Procedure If you have an injury, how ever small it must be reported to your supervisor & Esk Ltd.  The injured worker will be initially treated onsite by the First Aider onshore or Medic offshore.  Esk Ltd must be informed as we are required to submit a report to our insurance company advising of the incident to make them aware of a possible claim.  To ensure information we submit is correct a written report is required from the injured person and any other witnesses asap, including photos of site & injury if possible.  The incident will be recorded in Esk Ltd.'s ‘Register of Injuries’, incidents and near misses and communicated to Client and other interested parties.  The incident will be investigated and closed out when all parties agree corrective action is sufficient to prevent recurrence.
