Narcissism has two meanings: 1) Based on a Greek myth about a man who fell in love with his own reflection and drowned, his mother named the flower that grew in his place "Narcissus". 2) Being totally self-absorbed, vain, and self-obsessed. Narcissism can be bad if taken to an extreme, as people may become too focused on themselves and disconnected from others. To improve, people should love themselves but remain modest, humble, interested in others, considerate, and cooperative.

2. What is Narcissism?
• Narcissism can mean two different
things.
• Meaning one: This meaning is based on a Greek myth about a handsome
young man who was destined to live a long life if he never saw himself.
• But one day while he was venturing in the woods he came upon a small
lake and reached down to take a drink. He saw somebody staring back
at him, fell in love but realise it was only a reflection when he knelt to
kiss the reflection. He still came back to stare at himself every day
though! One day though he leaned in so far he fell in and drowned 
• Where he knelt a flower grew which his mum named Narcissist. One of
the meanings.

3. Second Meaning
• The second meaning is quite basically
being totally in love with yourself, being
selfish, self absorbed, vain and self
obsessed.
• Which is why the meanings are a little
the same because the handsome man in
the Greek myth was very vain.

4. Bad Narcissism
• Narcissism can be bad for the future though. If we
all get to self absorbed the world will be such a
boring place!
• People already think that this current group of young
people is the most narcissistic ever!
• People believe that this self obsessed generation
believe they are so great all they have to do is turn up
and every one will bow at their feet!

5. How can we improve?
We should all remember to love
ourselves, but keep it hidden and stay
modest, humble and interested in
others.
If we get to obsessed we will forget the
things that really matter in life so we
have to remember to be
considerate, acknowledge others and
cooperate.
