2. The Eternal Brothers is a 501c3 non-profit organization
founded in April of 2009 by a group of men from all
walks of life that wanted to give back to the
community.
Our 19 dedicated members currently operate the
following outreach programs in Northern Colorado
and Southern Wyoming.
Food and clothing banks in two states (Colorado and Wyoming)
Homeless outreach in 3 cities (Ft. Collins, Greeley, and Cheyenne)
24/7 need fulfillment (Clothing, food, and other necessities).
Counseling service
24-hour emergency service hotline
Other supporting events throughout the year
3. The Eternal Brothers operate food banks in Northern
Colorado and Southern Wyoming, servicing the
following counties:
Larimer County, Colorado
Weld County, Colorado
Laramie County, Wyoming
Over the past 5 years we have delivered over 750,000 pounds of
non-perishable food to families in need. We recognize that during hard
times it is easier if we deliver food to their homes. Our 19 members have
personally delivered every box of food to the families that were in need.
We purchase the food from the local food bank for 10-20 cents per pound,
and we also host 3 food drives per year to obtain the food we deliver.
4. The Eternal Brothers operate two clothing banks in
Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming.
Clothing is distributed at monthly homeless outreaches.
Families request clothing, we deliver directly to their homes.
We provide other organizations with clothing on a regular basis.
We also deliver trailers of clothing to native American tribes in
North Dakota.
Over the past 5 years The Eternal Brothers have distributed over 2,000,000
pounds of clothing to those in need. We hold several clothing drives a
year and also work with Colorado State University to distribute clothing
left behind. We sort out damaged goods, then wash and distribute the
remaining clothing.
5. The Eternal Brothers cook and serve hot meals and
distribute non-perishable food to the homeless and
needy once a month in the following cities:
Fort Collins, CO
Greeley, CO
Cheyenne, WY
The Eternal Brothers provide socks, toiletries, emergency sleeping bags,
emergency blankets, clothing and several other items that the homeless
need. Since the founding of the Eternal Brothers, we have never missed a
homeless outreach event. In addition to meal services, we have also
arranged temporary and permanent housing for families in need.
6. The Eternal Brothers are contacted frequently by
families in need. This need continues to grow every
year. Listed below are some of the needs we frequently
fill :
Rent, utility and cell phone bill assistance
Household needs such as detergent, shampoo, diaper, wipes and
basic toiletries
Larger household needs such as appliances and furniture
500+ Holiday meals (Turkeys, Hams and fixings for Thanksgiving
& Christmas)
Christmas presents for 100+ children per year
Automotive and home repairs for single mothers or fathers
Medical assistance on a case-by-case basis
7. Counseling
Through a service partnership with Turning Point, we counsel youth who were tried as adults
and who are now transitioning from jail to society. We build relationships with the youth and,
once released from Turning Point, we help the youth with all of their needs for the new homes
they obtain. They are starting from scratch and require assistance with everything from
furniture, appliances, bedding, silverware, kitchen needs and everything else you can think of
that is required for a home.
Mobile Home Park Outreaches
Since the founding of the Eternal Brothers, we cook and serve every Monday night at a local
mobile home park in Fort Collins, Colorado. In addition to the cooking and serving of meals,
we provide food from our food bank, clothing and presents to the children we serve. On
average we serve 40-plus children and 25-plus adults, with needs increasing consistently.
24 Hour Emergency Service Hotline
Harvest Farms
We partner with Harvest Farms in Wellington, CO by serving meals and helping the guys in
the program with basic needs. We also get to know the guys at the Farm and counsel them
threw daily struggles.
Other Events
Realities Ride & Rally is a fundraiser held Memorial Day weekend to benefit abused and
neglected children of Northern Colorado. The Eternal Brothers have raised and donated
money/goods over the last 6 years to the event. The last two years we have been able to raise
and donate over $ 10,000 each year to help abused and neglected children in Northern
Colorado.
8. It takes approximately $30,000 per year to fully fund all
of our programs and services, but we need to grow. We
need your help to:
Triple the size of our food bank at a cost of $40,000
(250,000 pounds of food at 16 cents per pound)
Increase the amount of holiday meals at a cost of $20,000
(1,000 meals at $ 20 a meal)
Increase the amount of children served by Christmas presents at a cost of $20,000($ 100 per
child for 200 children)
Grow our needs fulfillment, which would require an additional $ 40,000
Secure larger warehouse space. We are currently operating out of an 800 sq ft building and
we would need to obtain a 5,000+ sq ft building at a cost of $ 24,000 – $ 48,000 a year or
$ 2,000-$ 4,000 a month. Ideally, purchase a building.
Build a multi-functional center to serve as a Retreat/Ranch/Animal Sanctuary/Domestic
Violence Shelter. We need to secure land to bring this vision to fruition. We currently have
over 30 other non-profit agencies that are excited for the opportunity to utilize this type of
facility.
We are proud of our country’s Veterans, and we want to develop a strong program to
assist our Vets that have fallen on hard times. This program will be intertwined with the
Burgundy Cross Ranch mentioned above.
