4. 1- HUMAN RESOURCES ARE A CRITICAL
COMPONENT OF A STRONG START-UP
• Don’t underestimate the importance of human resource management.
• Spend time choosing a strong team and invest time and energy in recruiting,
interviewing, and hiring a team.
• Interview 10-20 more people than you are actually looking to hire: this allows
you to be selective in developing your team.
• It can be difficult to attract talent to a start-up---be sure you put in effort in
recruiting and PR for your business.
5. 2- INVEST IN YOUTH
• Don’t underestimate students and recent graduates--- they are very skilled
and willing to learn.
• Reach out to universities and professors to discover new talent.

make your business more sustainable!
