It offers many functions, including hidden SSID, division of VLAN, MAC address filtering, bandwidth control,, effectively safeguarding the wireless network. Support external antenna Compex wireless Indoor Access Points support external antenna which makes it can expand coverage quickly and effectively. 2 antenna means 11n
With the rapid development of wireless network technology, the demand for wireless networks in industry continues to grow every day. Wireless networks in the office are becoming more of a trend as Wi-Fi terminals such as laptops, tablet PC’s, ne books and smart phones begin to appear. In order to meet the growing demand for mobile internet, Compex provides a variety of high performance, stable and wide range coverage with indoor wireless AP’s. Compex wireless indoor AP is easy to install and use. Due to small amounts of radiation, it is ideal for hotels, enterprises, campuses, government and other indoor wireless networks. A hotels internal deployment of wireless networks not only provides wireless Internet access for customers (especially businessman and travelers), increases customer satisfaction and enhances the hotel's brand image, but also brings great convenience for internal wireless office workers and improves operational efficiency. Deploying a wireless network for a campus library, reading room, activity center, multi-media classroom, student’s dormitories or teacher’s office makes it easier for teachers and students to surf the internet anywhere and at anytime. Meanwhile it can enrich campus life and promote the development of modern education. The fierce competition among enterprises also creates the need for a powerful wireless network to effectively grasp instant information. The exchange of information between various departments of the government also depends on a stable wireless network.
Active – can be used with poe switch

Atheros High-speed Network Processor Compex Wireless Outdoor Access Point (AP) uses high-speed network processors, such as AR 7240, AR7130, or AR7161. Its high-performance, high-stability features make it ideally suitable for integrating a wide range of OEM devices. Support both local power supply and PoE Compex Wireless Outdoor Access Point, not only supports local power supply, but also supports power over Ethernet (PoE). In situations where it is not convenient to access the power, PoE is the best choice. For those that connect Internet by using fiber cable, you can simply choose local power supply. High-gain Dual-polarization Antenna High-gain dual-polarization antenna (up to 19dBi) provides good diversity coverage and better noise immunity. It supports up to 10Km range and is suitable for all kinds of long-distance implementation. Powerful Network Security System Various security authentication and encryption schemes, such as WEP, WPA, WPA2, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, are supported. It offers many functions, including hidden SSID , division of VLAN, MAC address filtering, bandwidth control, effectively safeguarding the wireless network.
Point-to-point bridging mode is mostly used for two wired LANs. By connecting two APs, the two wired LANs can be connected and share resources wirelessly. Additionally, it can expand the existing network. Point-to-multipoint bridging mode is an extension of the point-to-point bridging mode. It is able to integrate several discrete remote networks. It generally sends a wireless signal with one network-centric while the other receiving point receives the signal. Compex Wireless Outdoor AP uses an Atheros high-speed network processor, a high-power Radio card, and a high-gain dual-polarization antenna. It supports both local power supply and power over Ethernet (PoE). There are several work modes such as Access Point, Access Point WDS, Station and Station WDS. The security of the network is powerful and great for internal network connections between two or more buildings. For instance, a SME (small and medium-sized enterprise) owning two or more branches, needs to exchange information between its office branches. If you build a wired network for all of the branches the cost will be very high. Additionally, it is very difficult to implement this type of network. If the wireless network is between two buildings, you can simply choose point to point bridging. If it is among several buildings, you can choose point to multipoint bridging mode for the network.
