The Coolangatta Sands Backpacker Hostel offers Clean, Safe, Modern Affordable
accommodation facilities.
Located in the heart of Coolangatta on top of the Coolangatta Sands Hotel, and
less than a kilometre to the famous Coolangatta Beach, it’s the perfect place to
base yourself and explore the world-famous Gold Coast. Facilities include a fully
equipped kitchen, spacious hot showers, TV lounge with DVD player and movie
library, Wifi and three computers, beach view balconies, laundry facilities and
more. Our reception staff are always on hand to help with any of your local
questions or to gain the best tourism activity advice.

Located amongst some of the best beaches in the world, Coolangatta and
the Gold Coast is not just all about the surf, but let’s be honest, it is a big
reason to visit our shores. Local surf Breaks “Snapper Rocks” and “D-Bah” are
the home surf breaks to some of the world’s best surfers

Backpacker Hostel offers clean, safe, modern and affordable
accommodation facilities. Located in the heart of Coolangatta and less
than a kilometre to the famous Coolangatta Beach, it’s the perfect place
to base yourself and explore the world-famous Gold Coast. Our dorm
rooms have 4, 6 or 8 single beds. We also have 5 private rooms (Double
or Twin).
