Daniel Beshah has basic experience in Railway Engineering, project coordination of civil
works of any sort; planning and supervision of different civil (roads, water and railway)
design and construction projects. He has more than 11 years of experience in the civil
engineering profession of which more than 8 years was dedicated mainly on supervision of
railway works basically as Resident Engineer, Senior Quantity Engineer and Budget
Controlling Engineer. Besides, Daniel has worked with different international firms and
has experience in railway design and construction, road, building, and water projects.
Working on Addis Ababa-Djibouti Railway Construction Works and on the Irmak
Karabük Zonguldak Railway Rehabilitation and Signalization Works in Turkey,
Daniel has exposure in railway and bridge works management; inspection/supervision;
railways quantity surveying; structural design and related quality control works. Alongside
the administration/monitoring and design abilities, he has extensive construction quality
control and quantity surveying experience in railway, road, water, and building projects.

Effective train operation of the CDE line as part of the

 Lead the technical team, on the NCSC side, for the
inspection of the line;
 Identify, through the inspection, the civil and structural
deficiencies of the existing line and of the bridges for
further action;
 Produce the allied global scope of intervention works so as
to make the railway line operational;
 Categorize the problems in to major and minor defects for
due consideration of the magnitude of interventions
needed;
 In discussion with the CDE, sort out the major and minor
interventions into activities that could be achieved by the
CDE own force and those works beyond the CDE capacity
and that shall be sub-contracted.
 Give technical solutions, for minor defect extents, for the
abovementioned problems in favor of further interventions;
 Assess and involve in the sub-contracting of the works that
shall be outsourced;
 Supervision, control and monitoring of the works during
implementation periods;
 Quantities and Cost Estimates for Structures.
 Responsible for measurement and determination of value
of the work, interim payment certificates, final
measurement and payment certificates during the execution
phase.
