 Treatment of water from STPs and recycling and its effective

 Modifications in cremation ground by studying the existing

 Create designated locations for Garbage disposal
 Water Reservoirs in the form of lake on a PPP model proposed

Environment
• Wage Employment Programme - for the unemployed and semi
skilled youth from villages, slums and streets – Identify, verify
credentials, skill and place.
• Waste Collection and Disposal Programme by RWA to provide
better sanitation facilities.
• Managing Construction waste – A model for replication
• Introduce Penal Action for Misuse of Water – HUDA
• Low cost toilets to be built over the next six months – HUDA
• Conduct a sample survey to identify the total number of
submersible pumps with the objective of devising policies for
better water resource management in the city- HUDA

• Hold periodic seminars on specific themes – to
identify, showcase scalable projects and connect
with investors and partners.
• Media Campaign to highlight issues, solutions and
initiatives by stakeholders

• Create GRM Website for good web presence
• Advocacy through Social Media Networking

7. PROGRESS IN MARCH 2012
Highlights
 DLF Foundation Hosted a Workshop on 20 March at CSR Liveweek
Conference held in Gurgaon participated by over 350 Corporates
and NGO Participants. Gurgaon Renewal Mission was presented in
details.
 GRM Propagated during the exhibition and various facets displayed
at CSR Livewire Exhibition, held in Gurgaon
 Project Development Workshop on “Infrastructure Planned for 17 of
April, 2011
 Specific initiatives under “Infrastructure and Governance”, planned.
A Short-term and long-term action plan prepared by Task Force.
