 Executive Benefits of New York (EBNY) is a financial planning firm and
insurance brokerage.
 They provide a one-stop-shop for both businesses and individuals looking
for financial direction and insurance advice.
 Located at 80 Fifth Avenue Suite 1403 New York, 10011 United States
 I worked as a financial planning and insurance intern from
May 23, 2016 – August 15, 2016
 Worked 5 days a week, 40+ hours
 Salary: $600 a month
 Gained 9 academic credits

3. Daily Tasks
 Worked directly with a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Group Benefits
Associate (GBA)
 Researched and recommended municipal, corporate, and yield bonds
every morning
 Researched and recommended common and preferred stocks
 Helped update the company’s standard mutual fund lineup
 Mapped mutual fund lineups for clients
 Developed business censuses and renewal quotes

4. Special Projects
 Create, organize, and order new marketing materials
 Refinance mortgage loans and rates
 Shadowed a CFP and learned their tasks in an economic crisis that affects
clients (Brexit)
 Improved mutual fund lineups for clients
