5. Mind Map
• Strengths of using this method
Gives general ideas on the design I want, keeps things simple and doesn’t overcomplicate the
basics.
• Weaknesses of using this method
Still leaves the poster up the imagination, it doesn’t really put things into perspective on how it will look
• Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes, it gives the basic ideas to build upon
7. Mood Board
• Strengths of using this method
The theme begins to come together, from the crab to the palm trees I can see the poster I want become
more realistic.
I can lay out and visualize the outcome just by using stock photos.
• Weaknesses of using this method
• Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes, sets the theme in stone and visualizes the props used
9. Style Sheet
• Strengths of using this method
Visualizes the feeling the poster will give off through colours. Shows the poster will be bright and
welcoming rather than dark and empty. It will stand out. It also gives a base to pick stock photos from.
• Weaknesses of using this method
It doesn’t do much to show how the poster will turn out, only what colours would be used, it doesn’t
tell how they’ll be used
• Did you like using this method? Why?
10. Layout Plan

11. Layout Plan
• Strengths of using this method
I can clearly see the final product I’m aiming for appear in this. It’s also a good reminder to go back to
when I begin to make my final design to not go too off course.
• Weaknesses of using this method
The design layout could change dramatically in-between doing the layout plan and beginning the
final product.

better’
At the end, no other words
Props:
Ice cubes
Glass
Cans
Hot coal and water
Audience:
anyone
Theme:
Coke is the perfect
drink to have on a hot
sunny day
Coke is for family and
friends/togetherness
Goes great with food
Voiceover:

COKE
RADIO
ADVERT
14. Independent Brainstorm
• Strengths of using this method
Instantly begins creating the storyline and theme for the advert, any idea that comes up is put down
which gives options on the final outcome of the product.
• Weaknesses of using this method
Has very tunnel-visioned ideas because they only came from one person. I could be leaving out
fantastic ideas just because I didn’t think of them
• Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes, puts my idea into pieces that can be worked on one at a time
16. Group Idea Generation
• Strengths of using this method
Lots of ideas come together and give plenty of options for how the advert could turn out. Gives
those ideas that a single person would’ve missed out on.
• Weaknesses of using this method
I don’t feel there are any
• Did you like using this method? Why?
• Yes, good group ideas to build my plan upon.
17. Informal Pitch
• Strengths of using this method
It gives an experienced opinion on what could be changed and what's good enough to stay in.
• Weaknesses of using this method
An idea you think is really good might not be someone else's idea of ‘really good’
• Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes, it improves my radio advert before I even began.
18. Formal Proposal
• Strengths of using this method
Ask the questions that I normally wouldn’t think about unless asked which could be a determent to my
ad
• Weaknesses of using this method
I don’t feel there are any
• Did you like using this method? Why?
Doesn’t improve my idea, only hinders it

20. Initial Reaction
My first thought is what will my advergame be about. My first idea was a balancing game where the
player gets given coke bottles and cans and they have to balance them, with less and less time given
every time the player places a coke or having a coke can as a target and the player has to hit the can
with a ball by bouncing the ball off of walls.
I’ve never used photoshop apart from the Coca-Cola advert poster from a few weeks ago so I’m curious
to see how I’ll be using it to animate something
I feel like this will be the hardest project to do out over the radio and poster task as they aren’t the
typical way of advertising.
21. Initial Reaction
• Strengths of using this method
It will be good to look back on after the project is done to see how I feel from now until then after
creating the advergame and the question I have asked been answered.
• Weaknesses of using this method
• Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes, it will be good to see after the project is done to compare my thoughts now to my thoughts in the
future
23. Sketches
• Strengths of using this method
It’s the starting square the whole thing. It visualises the objects that will be used in the game.
• Weaknesses of using this method
The sketches are rough and are likely to change throughout the project.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes, I have everything the watcher will see already planned and ready to go.
24. Formal Proposal
• Strengths of using this method
Ask the questions that I normally wouldn’t think about unless asked which could be a determent to my
ad
• Weaknesses of using this method
I don’t feel there are any downsides to this.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes, it helps me improve my advert by asking the right questions.
