  2. First, what is an engaging product and why care? Engagement is interaction between customer and brand Most products fail integrate lives Shame, have potential, format is wrong We want them succeed, million things in life, love to delegate Some fail to get attention (dentist, savings) I happy pay bucks to save my time/energy This precisely crux of engagement - we engage with prod that create value continuously

Engagement is sign of… Important to note, not talking about opening app every day (ad-based) Talking about kind when users keep using long time when need (subscription-based) Talking to companies/ent/scale/start who aim provide premium treatment, create value Nothing breaks eng. like trying advantage or squeezing money - lose trust, users, growth Except if don’t plan staying - scam optimal If, other hand, plan building long-lasting - best bet is building relation, creating value
  4. What’s wrong with format, what can we do? Most apps require to use it Sounds ridiculous, but remember - my goal delegate problems I don’t time/energy go look for app, open, learn, if lucky solve Sometimes not aware of problem, or don’t know how solve You’re expert, help me figure out, don’t make jump hoops to learn what you tell A common idea is build yet another feature (have to learn, think, waste)

  11. Hypertension (high blood pressure) Constantly sick Patients constantly in fear - only safe with doctor
