A mindset is a set of beliefs that determines one's behavior and mental attitude. Improvisation techniques, many learned from the theater of spontaneous creation, come together to form a mindset that can be readily applied to other domains. This presentation explores the six foundational principals of improv. What else do you think it might apply to?

SLIDE NOTES:
1- Mindset (noun) - a set of beliefs or a way of thinking that determines one’s behavior, outlook, and mental attitude
2- Embrace Challenges, Effort leads to Mastery, Learn from Criticism and success of others
3- Iterate, ask big questions (how might we...?)
5-“It is better to want what you have than to have what you want.” - dalai lama
7-What were the details? Close your eyes... How many lights are in the room?
9-We make a lot of stuff up, but it’s actually because we are paying more attention to reality. You can’t play with it unless you notice it.
