Background
A large tobacco company in the U.S. was dependent on a small HR analytics team to handle requests for all HR-related reports and
dashboards. The reporting process was highly specialized and utilized sophisticated Excel spreadsheets that were maintained by the
core analytics team.
Critical client issues
The expertise required to execute and deliver any HR reporting resided within this core team, so the burden on the team was high.
Any requests for specific reports would have to be funneled through these individuals, resulting in bottlenecks and slow turnaround time.
A lack of integration across systems for many HR functions made comprehensive reporting impossible.
Tthe existing internal model for reporting made this unsustainable.

Using BOC the company implemented a cloud-based dashboard that would measure and report on key workforce data
