In business for over 7 years in the home renovation as
Construction and Renovation DBF Inc. in the Ottawa-
Gatineau region, Reflexio Concept & Design was founded as
the pionneer in a newly introduced concept of ceiling finishing
which is now commonly known as Stretch Ceilings.
Reflexio became the Leader in Ottawa-Gatineau in 2013 as a
Residential and Commercial Specialist in Stretch Ceiling
Now with a team totalling over 4,000 installations in Quebec and
Ontario, and partners in Montreal, Quebec City, Abitibi,
Saguenay and Chicoutimi, Reflexio became #1 in Canada
and is now expanding in Toronto up to Vancouver.
Popular projects realized with the Federal Government of

8. Stretch ceiling consists of: profiles, harpoon and a PVC membrane.
Aluminum profiles are solidly fixed around the perimeter of the room.
The harpoon is securely welded around the perimeter of the membrane
and is being mounted into the special locking groove of the profile.
There can be as little as 2,5cm distance between the stretch ceiling and
the original ceiling.

9. Stretch ceiling is installed directly to
the basic ceiling. Profiles are fixed
around the perimeter of the room to
the walls or to the ceiling. Around the
stretch ceiling runs a harpoon which
is used to lock the ceiling to the
profile. When installing stretch ceiling
we have to warm up the ceiling and
harpoon to around 45 degrees, the
ceiling becomes very soft and easier
to manipulate. Once in perfect
position, the ceiling becomes very
tight creating a perfectly smooth
ceiling surface.

- only 240g per m2. It means that a 100 m2 ceiling weighs only 24
kg. This significantly reduces the load on the bearing structures of
the building. No other type of ceiling has such minimal weight!

For a period of 10 years, the manufacturer
guarantees that the ceiling, the seam welds
and joint-welds, harpoon and material will
have the same properties as on the day of

necessity to clean them, it can easily be done with a
microfiber cloth and a soft cleaner.

available. In case of water damage from above, the
ceiling will prevent any damage underneath and it is
easy to open and then reinstall. It also allows for any
quick addition of new lighting or technical equipments.
