A Resource Centre is a space specially created in an institution that has human as well as material resources required to assist/aid/strengthen the objectives of the institute. Human resources are the experts in various fields identified from different agencies. 3. The Origin of Teachers’ Resource Centres TRCs originated in Britain in 1960s for the Professional Development of Teachers. They provided In-service training to the teachers besides providing a range of material resources. In India, TRCs were set up in Delhi, Madras, Bombay, calcutta and Pune in seventies and early eightees. 15. Getting Feedback Interviews of people at different levels are being conducted to get a feedback of the activities of the Resource Centre. Experts in the field of Theatre & Films, Teacher Educators, School Principals, Teachers, ETE trainees, and School students are being interviewed and a film is being developed based on these interviews.
