Kingdom Plantae includes photosynthetic, multicellular organisms that undergo alternation of generations between haploid gametophyte and diploid sporophyte generations. They are divided into nonvascular and vascular plants. Nonvascular plants include mosses, liverworts and hornworts, while vascular plants include seedless vascular plants like ferns, clubmosses, horsetails and seed plants like gymnosperms and angiosperms. Seed plants are divided into gymnosperms like conifers, cycads and ginkgos, and angiosperms which produce flowers and fruits.
