9. Complementary transaction:-
A complementary transactions occurs when the
sender of the message gets the intended response
from the receiver.
For example,
An employee makes a mistake &,
wanting some sympathy, apologizes to the
boss. Employee “ I just dropped the thing when
I was almost done. Now I have to do it all
over again’’. Supervisor “ It happens to all of us
; don`t worry about it.” This complementary
transaction is illustrated below:

11. Ulterior transaction:-
In an ulterior transaction two
messages are conveyed at the same
time. One of these is an overt or
social-level message, the other a
covert or psychological-message .

13. Crossed transaction:-
A crossed transaction is one in
which the transactional vectors
are not parallel .The ego-state
being adressed is not the ego-
states that responds.
