  5. 5. 1. INFLUENZA IS A VIRAL INFECTION SPREAD THROUGH CONTACT AND BREATHING CONTAMINATED AIR.
  6. 6. 2. FLU SEASON IN AUSTRALIA RUNS BETWEEN MAY AND OCTOBER, PEAKING IN AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER.
  7. 7. 3. DATA SHOWS THAT VERY YOUNG CHILDREN (UNDER 5) AND OLDER PEOPLE (OVER 75) ARE MOST VULNERABLE TO INFLUENZA.
