01. Surah Al-Fatihah (‫)الفاتحة‬ Message
Ref.: 2
9
 The Surah is both a Du'a (prayer) and an introduction of the Qur'an.
 It teaches the basic principles of Islamic faith.
 All praise and thanks are for Allah (‫)ﷻ‬ who is the Lord of all the worlds.
 Allah (‫)ﷻ‬ is most merciful and most compassionate.
 Allah (‫)ﷻ‬ is also the Master of the Day of Judgment.
 We should pray to Allah (‫)ﷻ‬ only and we should seek His help.
 We seek His guidance and help to walk on the straight path.
 This is the path of those who received Allah (‫')ﷻ‬s favors, not the path of those
who incurred His anger or who went astray.
Learning One Ayat of Al Quran & Implementing in your Life is Better than Praying 100 Rakats (Nawaafil) of Salaat.

It is the journey of creation which Allah, the Almighty, ordered us to contemplate at,
to realize Allah's blessing bestowed upon us and what beautiful when the believer
lives submissively, even for seconds, when he sees the power of Allah is reflected in
the creation of the fetus in his mother's womb. All praises to you Allah! Who created
us in the most beautiful, most magnificent and best form, and granted us your
blessings, the apparent and the hidden. You are more knowing of us than ourselves;
you have talked to us in your glorious book saying: “He knows you well when He
created you from the earth, and when you were fetuses in your mothers’ wombs. So
ascribe not purity to yourselves. He knows best him who fears Allâh and keeps his
duty to Him" Surah An-Najm [The Gathering], 53:32. Oh Allah, we shall neither
ascribe purity to ourselves nor to anyone else, as you are more knowing of our
doings and more knowing of what fits our situation, so prepare for us a knowledge
that gives us benefit and makes us closer to you. Ref: Secrets of Quran Miracles

DNA --- The genetic codeDNA is a macromolecule located at the nucleus of
every cell of our body, it contains more than
three thousands millions information! It also
contains the systems needed for cell
reproduction and the information that guarantee
cellular health and body health in general. One of
Allah’s secrets bestowed in DNA is that nobody
can have DNA similar to another one, therefore it
is considered as a perfect genetic fingerprint to
identify any person and distinguish him form
others.is it a coincidence? Allah Almighty says

There are many benefits in the fig fruit that were mentioned in the Glorious Quran,
and rather Allah, the Almighty took an oath by it. The most important of which is that
fig is very rich in minerals. It is also very useful in the prevention of cancer. It also acts
as tonic for the cells; it delays the aging process and contains a substance excreted by
the brain which is very vital material and necessary for the function of the heart,
brain and organs of the body. It is necessary to take few pieces of figs after the age of
35 to supply the body with this item that is necessary for its vitality. Some research
also confirms that the leaves of the cactus benefit diabetic patients. Does not this
fruit deserve to be taken oath with by Allah, the Almighty and even a special Sura;
chapter in the Quran to be named after it. Allah stated in Glorious Quran, Al-Tin [The
Fig] 95:1-4, ‘By the Fig and the Olive, And the Mount of Sinai, And this City of
security,- We have indeed created man in the best of moulds’.

A recent British study has found that the growth of the brain lasts until almost the age of forty
and then it stops afterwards. Another study affirms that the mental capacities start to
deteriorate after the age of forty. Amazingly, the holy Qur’an says that man reaches the age of
full strength when he becomes forty and then consequently starts deteriorating after wards.
Allah, the almighty says in the holy Qur'an:
“We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents: In pain did his mother bear him, and in
pain did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of) thirty
months. At length, when he reaches the age of full strength and attains forty years, he says,
"O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou has bestowed upon
me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest
approve; and be gracious to me in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to
Thee) in Islam."” Ahqaf: 46: 15
Our question to all skeptics of the message of Islam is how Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, knew
that the age of forty is the separating line between the completion of mental capacities and
the deterioration of such capacities.

Explanation About Total number of Ayat (verses) in Al Quran (Click Here)
Scholars have different opinions about the number of the Quranic verses.
But this conflict is just about “numerating” the verses.
Here are some points about the difference:
a) Some scholars numerated the long sentences as 2 or 3 verses, while some others regarded
them as 1 whole verse.
b) Besides, Shafii scholars regarded “Bismillah r- Rahman-ir-Rahim” as a part of each sura and
didn’t numerate them. But the Hanafi scholarsregarded each “Bismillah r- Rahman-ir-Rahim”
as specific verses, so counted them.
c) It’s the same about the hurooful muqattaa (some secret letters which are written in the
beginning of some suras like ”Ya sin, ha mim”.) Some scholars numerated them as specific
verses, while the others not.
The number of the verses according to Scholars:
 Ibn-i-Abbas (RA): 6616
 Nafi (RA): 6217
 Shayba (RA): 6214
 Scholars of Egypt (RA): 6226
22
 Zamahshari (RA) (the genius Eloquence Scholar of the Arabic language and literature): 6666.
 Bediuzzaman, mujaddid (the reformer) of the 13 century, also has the opinion of 6666 verses.
 Ibn-i Huzeyme (one of the big imams) made the following explanations on “6666” issue while
handling the “Quran’s miracle of number” topic of his book titled “An Nasih wa’l Mansuh”:
1) 1000 verses about Promising (wa’ad)
2) 1000 about Threat (wa’id)
3) 1000 Command (amr) verses
4) 1000 Forbiddance (nahy) verses
5) 1000 Information and Story verses
6) 1000 Warning and Example verses
7) 500 verses about Ruling
8) 100 verses about Invocation and Glorification
9) 66 “nasih and mansuh” ("the Abrogating and Abrogated") verses
Totally there are 6666 verses in the Quran
Consequently, the expression “Quran has 6666 verses.” is based on the mentioned points.

(1000+1000+1000+1000+1000+1000+500+100+66 = 6666)

But Today, All Accepting the Opinion of Al Kufa that
Al Quran Consist of 6236 verses.
(6236 verses followed in the present discussion )
 Total number of verses in Al Quran is 6236 with the “Bismillah r-
Rahman-ir-Rahim” not included except for Surah Al Fatihah.
 With “Bismillah r- Rahman-ir-Rahim” included the total number
of Quranic Verses are 112 + 6236 = 6348.
Scholars after the Prophet Muhammad (‫)ﷺ‬ have done

for the convenience of reading/memorization (recitation)

Explanation About number of Ruku in Al Quran (Click Here)
 There are 540 Ruku in Al Quran. (Click Here)
 This subdivision is not part of original revelation but adopted later-on to facilitate
completion of Al Quran on the 27th night of Ramadan (i.e. on Laylatul Qadr).
 The Ruku of The Holy Quran was not to be found in the time of Nabi Muhammad (‫,)ﷺ‬ nor
in the time of the Sahaaba (RA). Around 4 AH the Ulema of Bukhara, Russia divided the
entire Quran into 540 Ruku for Taraaweeh purposes.
 The Equation is as Follows:
 When devising these Ruku the Ulema made sure that Ruku contained Ayat of the
same topic and theme; because the Hafiz goes into Ruku after reciting it in one
Raka'at of Taraaweeh Salaah.
 After further study found that Al Quran has Actual 558 Ruku. (Click Here)
(558 Ruku followed in the present discussion)
1 Ruku per Raka'at x 20 Raka'at = 20 Ruku per Night of Ramadan x 27 Nights of Ramadan = 540 Ruku

This Surah is called Al-Fatihah, that is, the Opener of the Book, the Surah with which prayers are begun. It
is also called, Umm Al-Kitab (the Mother of the Book). In the beginning of the Book of Tafsir, in his Sahih,
Al-Bukhari said; “It is called Umm Al-Kitab, because the Qur’an starts with it and because the prayer is
started by reciting it.” It was also said that it is called Umm Al-Kitab, because it contains the meanings of
the entire Qur’an. Ibn Jarir said, “The Arabs call every comprehensive matter that contains several specific
areas an Umm. For instance, they call the skin that surrounds the brain, Umm Ar-Ra’s. They also call the
flag that gathers the ranks of the army an Umm.” He also said, “Makkah was called Umm Al-Qura, (the
Mother of the Villages) because it is the grandest and the leader of all villages. It was also said that
the earth was made starting from Makkah.”

Further, Ahmad ibn Hanbal recorded that Abu Hurayrah narrated about Umm Al-Qur’an that the Prophet
Muhammad (‫)ﷺ‬ said,
(It is Umm Al-Qur’an, the seven repeated (verses) and the Glorious Qur’an.) According to the majority of
the scholars. In an authentic Hadith recorded by At-Tirmidhi, who graded it Sahih, Abu Hurayrah said that
the Prophet Muhammad (‫)ﷺ‬ said,
(Al-Hamdu lillahi Rabbil-`Alamin is the Mother of the Qur’an, the Mother of the Book, and the seven
repeated Ayat of the Glorious Qur’an.)
It is also called Al-Hamd and As-Salah, because the Prophet Muhammad (‫)ﷺ‬ said that his Lord said,
Al-Fatihah was called the Salah, because reciting it is a condition for the correctness of Salah-the prayer. Al-
Fatihah was also called Ash-Shifa’ (the Cure).
It is also called Ar-Ruqyah (remedy), since in the Sahih, there is the narration of Abu Sa`id telling the story
of the Companion who used Al-Fatihah as a remedy for the tribal chief who was poisoned. Later, the
Prophet Muhammad (‫)ﷺ‬ said to a Companion,
(How did you know that it is a Ruqyah)

Muslim recorded that Abu Hurayrah said that the Prophet Muhammad (‫)ﷺ‬ said,

My servant, and My servant shall have what he asks for.’ If he says, “All praise and thanks be to Allah (‫,)ﷻ‬
the Lord of existence”. Allah (‫)ﷻ‬ says, `My servant has praised Me.’ When the servant says, “The Most
Gracious, the Most Merciful” Allah (‫)ﷻ‬ says, `My servant has glorified Me.’ When he says, “The Owner of
the Day of Recompense” Allah (‫)ﷻ‬ says, `My servant has glorified Me, or `My servant has related all
matters to Me.’ When he says, (You (alone) we worship, and You (alone) we ask for help.) Allah (‫)ﷻ‬ says,
`This is between Me and My servant, and My servant shall acquire what he sought.’ When he says, “Guide
us to the straight path. The way of those on whom You have granted Your grace, not (the way) of those
who earned Your anger, nor of those who went astray”, Allah (‫)ﷻ‬ says, `This is for My servant, and My
servant shall acquire what he asked for.’).’

(Would you like me to teach you a Surah the likes of which nothing has been revealed in the
Tawrah, the Injil, the Zabur (Psalms) or the Furqan (the Qur’an)) He said, `Yes, O Messenger of
Allah(‫’!)ﷻ‬ The Messenger of Allah(‫)ﷻ‬ said, (I hope that I will not leave through this door until
you have learned it.) He (Ka`b) said, `The Prophet Muhammad (‫)ﷺ‬ held my hand while
speaking to me. Meanwhile I was slowing down fearing that he might reach the door before
he finished his conversation. When we came close to the door, I said: O Messenger of Allah(‫!)ﷻ‬
What is the Surah that you have promised to teach me’ He said, (What do you read in the
prayer.) Ubayy said, `So I recited Umm Al-Qur’an to him.’ He said,
(By Him in Whose Hand is my soul! Allah(‫)ﷻ‬ has never revealed in the Tawrah, the Injil, the
Zabur or the Furqan a Surah like it. It is the seven repeated verses that I was given.)”
Also, At-Tirmidhi recorded this Hadith and in his narration, the Prophet Muhammad (‫)ﷺ‬ said,
(It is the seven repeated verses and the Glorious Qur’an that I was given.)

It is the journey of creation which Allah, the Almighty, ordered us to contemplate at, to realize Allah's blessing bestowed upon us and what beautiful when the believer lives submissively, even for seconds, when he sees the power of Allah is reflected in the creation of the fetus in his mother's womb. All praises to you Allah! Who created us in the most beautiful, most magnificent and best form, and granted us your blessings, the apparent and the hidden. You are more knowing of us than ourselves; you have talked to us in your glorious book saying: “He knows you well when He created you from the earth, and when you were fetuses in your mothers’ wombs. So ascribe not purity to yourselves. He knows best him who fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him" Surah An-Najm [The Gathering], 53:32. Oh Allah, we shall neither ascribe purity to ourselves nor to anyone else, as you are more knowing of our doings and more knowing of what fits our situation, so prepare for us a knowledge that gives us benefit and makes us closer to you. It also contains the systems needed for cell reproduction and the information that guarantee cellular health and body health in general. One of Allah’s secrets bestowed in DNA is that nobody can have DNA similar to another one, therefore it is considered as a perfect genetic fingerprint to identify any person and distinguish him form others.is it a coincidence? The most important of which is that fig is very rich in minerals. It is also very useful in the prevention of cancer. It also acts as tonic for the cells; it delays the aging process and contains a substance excreted by the brain which is very vital material and necessary for the function of the heart, brain and organs of the body. It is necessary to take few pieces of figs after the age of 35 to supply the body with this item that is necessary for its vitality. Some research also confirms that the leaves of the cactus benefit diabetic patients. Does not this fruit deserve to be taken oath with by Allah, the Almighty and even a special Sura; chapter in the Quran to be named after it. Allah stated in Glorious Quran, Al-Tin [The Fig] 95:1-4, ‘By the Fig and the Olive, And the Mount of Sinai, And this City of security,- We have indeed created man in the best of moulds’. • 21. Ref: Secrets of Quran Miracles Did you know? 21 A recent British study has found that the growth of the brain lasts until almost the age of forty and then it stops afterwards. Another study affirms that the mental capacities start to deteriorate after the age of forty. Amazingly, the holy Qur’an says that man reaches the age of full strength when he becomes forty and then consequently starts deteriorating after wards. Allah, the almighty says in the holy Qur'an: “We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents: In pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of) thirty months. At length, when he reaches the age of full strength and attains forty years, he says, "O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou has bestowed upon me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious to me in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to Thee) in Islam."” Ahqaf: 46: 15 Our question to all skeptics of the message of Islam is how Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, knew that the age of forty is the separating line between the completion of mental capacities and the deterioration of such capacities. • 22. Did you know? Explanation About Total number of Ayat (verses) in Al Quran (Click Here) Scholars have different opinions about the number of the Quranic verses. But this conflict is just about “numerating” the verses. Here are some points about the difference: a) Some scholars numerated the long sentences as 2 or 3 verses, while some others regarded them as 1 whole verse. b) Besides, Shafii scholars regarded “Bismillah r- Rahman-ir-Rahim” as a part of each sura and didn’t numerate them. But the Hanafi scholarsregarded each “Bismillah r- Rahman-ir-Rahim” as specific verses, so counted them. c) It’s the same about the hurooful muqattaa (some secret letters which are written in the beginning of some suras like ”Ya sin, ha mim”.) Some scholars numerated them as specific verses, while the others not. The number of the verses according to Scholars:  Ibn-i-Abbas (RA): 6616  Nafi (RA): 6217  Shayba (RA): 6214  Scholars of Egypt (RA): 6226 22

(Click Here)  This subdivision is not part of original revelation but adopted later-on to facilitate completion of Al Quran on the 27th night of Ramadan (i.e. on Laylatul Qadr).  The Ruku of The Holy Quran was not to be found in the time of Nabi Muhammad (‫,)ﷺ‬ nor in the time of the Sahaaba (RA). Around 4 AH the Ulema of Bukhara, Russia divided the entire Quran into 540 Ruku for Taraaweeh purposes.  The Equation is as Follows:  When devising these Ruku the Ulema made sure that Ruku contained Ayat of the same topic and theme; because the Hafiz goes into Ruku after reciting it in one Raka'at of Taraaweeh Salaah.  After further study found that Al Quran has Actual 558 Ruku. (Click Here) (558 Ruku followed in the present discussion) 1 Ruku per Raka'at x 20 Raka'at = 20 Ruku per Night of Ramadan x 27 Nights of Ramadan = 540 Ruku 25
