PROFILE
A strategic, versatile and creative government relations leader and communications professional with extensive
experience in both the public and private sectors. Experienced at nurturing and developing relationships that deliver
successful advocacy, public relations, media relations and government relations programs. Actively engaged in

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Instrumental in the comprehensive review and re-writing of new liquor laws and regulations in both
Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Successfully lobbied for the re-writing of a key public health regulation from a process-based regulation,
which was preventing a major new restaurant market entrant from operating as they did in other market
places, to an outcome-based regulation. This resulted in substantial savings for the operator without
impacting public safety.
Led the development of Manitoba Employers’ Council’s red tape reduction report and spearheaded lobbying
efforts to ensure successive governments supported both the specific recommendations and the principles
outlined – several of which are now being adopted as government policy.
